Yeah, I see it in your listing now, and it looks mysteriously just like the list I posted and linked to.

I would probably wait and see what sales come up. I would check up on TRSI's Weekly Specials. They may have select volumes on sale for $17.99 each every now and then.

It was matter of time when Chris B. sold AoD to Mania.coma while back. I'm sure they are still working out all of the kinks. Regardless, Mania.com definitely need a design overhaul.

Thanks WTK!
Grabbed Samurai 7 , finally. I would have probably missed it I hadn't been reminded.

Any other good sets on sale?
I'm thinking about Desert Punk...

I really enjoyed Desert Punk. The humor is very low brow(poop and boob jokes aplenty), but I found it quite amusing. The tin is also sweet. Easily worth the $30 asking price, IMO.

I would also highly recommend the Gunslinger Girls set for $22.49. That's one of my all-time favorite anime series.

Yeah,
I already have G. Girl. Thanks, I'll probably get Desert Punk.
Any other series I should get ?

Is Desert Punk REALLY nasty, or is it just some parts?

PG-13. No worse than an episode of South Park.

I enjoyed most of the Funimation titles that are included in this sale. Be aware though that you might be able to find them cheaper at another time. Just recently, FYE had a BOGO on all Funimation titles, including box sets. I would definitely recommend Speed Grapher(definitely for adult audiences) and Fruits Basket.

Really? Last time FYE did BOGO, everything came out to around 30.
The series set I saw are around 50-70.

I got my order yesterday, thankfully in a box and not a bubble mailer. It looks like they're starting to ship items like Amazon use to (past tense in my experience, my last couple of orders from Amazon haven't shipped this way) by shrinkwrapping the items to a cardboard backing with the invoice in the front. It came in great shape so overall I'm very pleased. Now I just need time to watch it!

Yeah, I love GunSlinger Girl!

Season 2 ended in March, So I wouldn't be surprised if we see it near the end of this year, or by middle of next year.

Gunslinger Girl - Il Teatrino will not be released this year. It's tentatively scheduled to be released sometime in 2009 in one complete collection.

Updates/clarification for the first post that lists the $10 selection at Big Lots...

- Argentosoma: Complete Collection is not the Anime Legends version
- DICE Season 1 Complete Collection and Season 2 Complete Collection are both available
- IGPX is the Volume 1 Special Edition in the "puff pack" (with T-shirt?)
- .hack//sign is the Limited Edition of Volume 6 with bonus episodes and slipcover
- I'm not sure about Volume 4, but I can vouch for Scrapped Princess Volume 1 (Family Ties + figure in display box) and Volume 6 (Pacifica's Destiny - limited edition box with figurines)
