You will be correct. The newer Viridian complete collections will be thinpaks from now on (starting with Burst Angel). They are housed inside a paper box.

Ordered the Samurai 7 (non-Viridian) set from Best Buy online a few days ago when it was backordered but just received a confirmation e-mail saying that it's on its way. I just hope that the warehouse did not mix up the Viridian box set with the standard version...

can anyone else recommend desert punk for $30? I'd like to try and find it cheaper...but i guess this is as good of deal as any huh?

The retail price is $89.98, so that's 67% off. I doubt that we will find any deal that will beat this. It can be cheaper if you want the Viridian Complete Collection.

They won't do it. You'll just have to hope that they take it upon themselves to match BB's price(which they quite often do).

ADV Films has secured rights to produce a limited re-release of the Battle Angel OVA series DVD. AD Vision originally released the 2 episode Battle Angel (Gunnm) anime series, an adaptation of the cyberpunk manga by Yukito Kishiro, on American DVD on December 7, 1999. The OVA series has been out of circulation in America for over 7 years. ADV Films will produce a limited production run of fewer than 10,000 new Battle Angel DVDs. The disc will retail at $19.98 and should be available from retailers soon.

It's back to full price (or close to it) at both BestBuy.com and Amazon.com now...

It's still $39.99 in stores (Best Buy - B&M)

AND STILL NO DESERT PUNK..sad..oh well i went ahead and ordered one off the BB.com site anyway..highly interested in checking out this series and all the reviews seem to be awesome on it!

just got back from big lots and there was a buttload of good stuff...was able to pick up:
