I don't think anyone would hold it against you if you just happened to put an Amazon.com Wish List (or some other wish list) in your sig with directions on how to send stuff to you...
Just a thought.

Hey bga, if you didn't mind, would it be possible to provide the script for download? I'd like to look at it and figure out how you did a couple things for my own learning. I don't program a lot, but when I do it's fun to see how others have written things. As well I'm not a programmer by trade (rather an engineer), so when I sparingly want to write a program/script I end up needing to re-learn everything, heh.

I was just kidding about the incentives, I really have more unviewed DVDs than I could possible view by the end of the year. I really do want to get the data miner working again, but I'm the treasurer of an investment club, and the software I inherited to do the books is failing when I try to expand some fields. The next meeting is tomorrow night, so I have to get it fixed today. I really do intend to fix the data miner before the end of Memorial Day, because, I, too, need another CH spreadsheet.

bga, I actually don't recall ever seeing your joke about incentives! That offer was spontaneous on my part, and it still stands, btw..
If you don't need DVDs, I'll paypal you $5 anytime you ask, and I bet dozens of others would as well.
Thanks for keeping us updated on your timetable!

I would be glad to Paypal some cash too. As a long time DVD-Talker, this file is one of the few reasons I still visit this site (old addications require constant feeding).
Thanks bga!!

It's running now. It looks like it's doing all the cataloging correctly, but I won't know until the morning if it did the enrollment check ok. If it does, I still need to write a little code to pull the info out of the database, which I will probably do tonight anyway, because that part will be really easy. However, if it doesn't work, I'm not sure if I can get to it before Sunday night.

Don't listen to him bga, we know you could do a LOT better than working with the monkeys at CH (and that gives monkeys a bad name!)

I am pleased to announce a new update. Although it took many restarts to get the enrollment status corrected, I believe it's all finally working, and that I can resume running it automatically every Tuesday. This version might be missing some new releases because I started it yesterday morning. Enjoy!
