He already answered the season set question, Toy Story 10th Anniversary Edition is $21.95 and I can't seem to find The Fox and The Hound.

hmm he is a She anyway YOU can get FOX and the HOUND as a sign up selection ...

if not i am sure it is around 21.95 also ... you can use codes to get them lower once you are signed up etc but anything DVD lower than 19.95 doesn't count towards your commitment ...

usually the FREE shipping codes work out nicely when trying to fulfil ...

just wanted to clear that up

here speaking of signing up just did myself using code above 785047 below is the terms associated with said code ...

As a Disney Movie Club member, all you need to do is buy 4 movies at regular Club prices in the next 24 months (starting at $19.95 per DVD), plus shipping and processing of $3.95 for the first title in each order, and $1.00 for each additional title in that same order. You may cancel your membership at any time after purchasing the 4 movies.

By agreeing to purchase at least 4 regular-priced movies in the next 24 months, you qualify to receive 4 Disney movies of your choice from the list of titles currently available from the Disney Movie Club (DVD format only) for $1.99 each. Shipping and processing is free. Save even more when you sign up with a credit card, and pay just $1.00 total. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your first shipment.

YOU MAY ALSO TAKE A 5TH MOVIE NOW AT THE SPECIAL PRICE OF JUST $14.95 (DVD format only), PLUS YOU PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE. This Bonus Movie will even count towards your purchase commitment, so you'll only need to purchase 3 more movies in the next 24 months instead of 4.

PLUS YOU CAN SAVE EVEN MORE by selecting a 6TH MOVIE NOW FOR the special price of JUST $9.95 (DVD format only) AND STILL PAY NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING AND PROCESSING CHARGE.

About every 4 weeks (up to 13 times a year) you will receive a mailing indicating the "Featured Title." Plus you may also receive up to 2 more seasonal Featured Title mailings a year. That's up to 15 buying opportunities a year! You can choose to receive the Featured Title, an alternate, or no movie at all. If you do not inform us of your choice within 10 days or by the date specified on the card (either by returning the card, visiting the website, or by calling the 800 number on the card), the Featured Title will be automatically shipped to you.

When you join the Disney Movie Club, you may provide us with your credit card information (website accepts credit card orders only). You will be charged only for the movies that you order (including Featured Title shipments) plus shipping and processing. We will not charge your credit card until the date of shipment. Sorry, we do not accept debit cards or check cards at this time.

You agree to fulfill your purchase commitment within 24 months of sign-up. If you are unable to meet your commitment within your commitment period, your credit card may be charged for the value of the 4 reduced-priced titles you have received. This amount is dependent upon your initial sign up offer and the format of your introductory movies.

Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed! If you are not completely satisfied with your introductory titles, simply return them within 10 days of receipt along with written notice informing us that you want to cancel your membership. We will refund any money you might have sent, including shipping and processing costs, as part of our no-risk guarantee.

This offer is limited to customers residing in the contiguous United States and may be withdrawn at any time. Disney Movie Club cannot ship to APOs or FPOs. Limit: one membership per household. Must be 18 years of age or older to join. Applicable sales tax will be added to orders shipped to California and Wisconsin.

This offer may not be combined with any other promotional offer, including coupons and rebates.

All applications to join the Disney Movie Club are subject to review. We reserve the right to request additional information, to reject any application, or to cancel any membership. We reserve the right to alter or end this offer at any time.

All titles are subject to availability.

Is the Disney club like CH in that after you've fulfilled the agreement can you cancel then sign on again, or are they stricter on such things?

BTW, the 10% plus free shipping code (85303) works on the 3 for $30 DVDs they have going on right now, the total is still $30 but you get free shipping, and they have some good titles to choose from. Here are my choices...

Watcher in the Woods
Candleshoe
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Not bad at $10 each.

So how is the club once you fulfill? I just made an order a couple days ago to fulfill my account. There's not enough left I want to rejoin, so I'll probably leave the account open. What sort of deals can I expect? Do they ever do any really good sales or is it pointless to even keep an account open?

well once you fulfil the account you get a B1G1 free offer as a welcome to the VIP club ... after that you get B2 get 50 % off or B1 get 50 % .... it depends on your style if you want to spend full prices at retail stores or do you hunt for deals on ebay or amazon > if the first then the club will save you money i guess.

Plus you have to remember to cancel Director's Selections else they get sent out to you just like CH does at top dollar ...

The Club is nice to have if you need to get an exclusive dvd or out of print dvd that the club might still be carrying ... like the Nightmare before christmas although that has been taken off the club a couple of weeks back... and an exclusive like Rocketman you can buy from amazon or a local store now.

So i guess it is up to you ...

it is easy to close and start over when they have more titles that you need for enrollment later on down the road.

I'll have to think about it. I mainly joined just to get all the animated classics. I don't think there's much left aside from The Little Mermaid. The rest I either have, are out of print, or aren't on the site (Peter Pan). The only exclusive I wanted was the DuckTales movie and I used it for fulfillment.

Are the B1G1 and the B1 get 50% off valid on anything or is it movies only? I have been wanting to get a lot of the sets like DuckTales and some of the Treasures. Those might not be a bad deal if the sales will work on them.

Cool. Thanks. I wanted to be sure, I'm used to Columbia House where half the stuff on the site won't work with sales.

If there aren't any movies exclusive to the club I wouldn't join. New releases hit the shelves a few months before it gets to the club. Older movies I've been able to get them cheaper elsewhere even with codes.

I joined DMC this weekend. I noticed the free shipping deal. Does anyone know if the dvds that have the free shipping will count towards your agreement? It does not say it would, and was not sure if anyone has tried it.

Once the DVDS are over 19.95 they count towards your commitment if they fall below 19.95 they don't ...

Shipping is not included as part of the price to determine if the dvd counts as a commitment. For example if you got a code for 10% off and got a 19.95 dvd + 3.95 shipping the total comes to 21.91 (19.95*.9=17.96+3.95=21.91), even though you would pay over 19.95 it doesn't count as a commitment. They base it off the price of the dvd itself. Free shipping codes is the best way to fulfill your commitment.

There are about 6 dvd's I want to pick up, but they are all below 19.95, if I bought all six would they count in any way against the amount I have to buy to fullfill my commitment?

No. Fulfillment titles must be at least $19.95 before shipping. Anything under $19.95 will not count no matter how many you buy.

Thanks for the quick answer. I'm having a hard time finding stuff over the 19.95 that I really want.
