I got my enrollment package today. 13 days from enrollment to the package arriving.

For anyone curious my enrollment consisted of...

Aladdin: Platinum Edition (Slipcover)
Alice In Wonderland: The Masterpiece Edition
Dumbo: Big Top Edition (Slipcover)
Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition (Slipcover)
The Sword In The Stone
Toy Story 2: 2 Disc Special Edition (Slipcover)

Does anyone know if Alice In Wonderland should have a slipcover? I'm almost positive The Sword In The Stone wouldn't have one, but Alice In Wonderland seems like it should.

Yes Alice in wonderland should have a slipcover the first set released did but the club probably doesn't have them with it anymore... and sword in the stone doesn't have one (never did)

great picks

Thanks. I'll have to look for the Alice In Wonderland slipcover somewhere then. I was fairly certain The Sword In The Stone wouldn't have one being just a boring single disc.

I thought they were fairly good picks. I'm basically just using the club to try and get all the classic animated movies that are still available. I've always wanted a complete collection of them, and after seeing how expensive the OOP ones can get I decided to stop dragging my feet and get the ones that are easy to fine. The few OOP Platinums are going to be expensive enough.

I just now got around to actually looking through my enrollment package. There was a card in there for The Little Mermaid that's lenticular and the back has all the scene selection information on it. Is that something they always do? Sending me a card like that for a movie I didn't order is kinda random, but I'm not complaining. I was planning on ordering The Little Mermaid anyway, so that will look cool with it.

Pretty sure that's what I used. I don't believe I made a note of it so I couldn't tell you for certain It should give you 4 at $0.25 each, the option to take your first fulfillment at $14.95 and the option to take an extra movie (non-fulfillment) for $9.95. I took both options, by my math the difference in the final, per DVD price, was only a few pennies.

EDIT: I think I may have used 785047 when I enrolled. Not sure about that though.

Does the disney movie club give any reasoning behind restricting the quantity of copies you can buy of a specific title? The thing is that I was buying 5 copies of Spirited Away to give to my nephews for Easter and I got an email today saying:

"dx23,

Thank you for your latest order. We appreciate your membership and
interest in the Disney Movie Club.

Upon further review of you order, we are unable to fulfill your request
for Spirited Away DVD. Your order has been adjusted to reflect
this change and you will not be charged for any cancelled title(s). As
stated in our member guide we reserve the right to restrict quantities
of select titles ordered. You have exceeded the limit on the title(s)
listed above so no further orders for this title will be fulfilled.

If you have any questions, call the Disney Movie Club at 800-362-4587,
9 a.m. to 9 p.m., EST, Monday - Friday. Your membership number is
940498.

We look forward to future opportunities to be of service to you.

This is completely stupid. Why are they going to limit the quantity of purchases I make for the same title? Isn't the purpose of the Club to sell items to its members?

Yes but i think they restrict dvds because of resellers ... even the CH does this ...
I believe the restriction is 3 of the same title can be ordered per membership

hope that helps

So the only option for me now is to quit my membership and renew later on? I already completed my commitments with them long time ago.

You can try calling the hotline and ordering from a csr see if one will sympathize with your situation. Good luck.

The rule is 3 copies per address, not per membership.

I enrolled on the 29th of March, I called the customer service to see if there was a problem with the order since my checking account hasn't been charged yet and see said it takes 2 to 3 weeks, so I guess I am just going to have to be patient. Here is my list of movies I ordered...

CARS
LAST FLIGHT OF NOAH'S ARK
SHAGGY DOG-WILD & WOOLY EDITION (the classic one)
SHAGGY D.A.-THE CANINE CANDIDATE EDITION (also classic one)
UNIDENTIFIED FLYING ODDBALL

No, because you can cancel a membership and open a new one at the same address.

Disney is having some wonderful specials, several titles are 3 for $30, even with shipping included that amounts to no more than $12 a DVD. They are also offering free shipping if you buy 2 DVDs for at least $19.95, I am going to use this one to help fulfill my membership agreement, I will just place 2 separate orders and take advantage of both good deals.

Sandyk67, what code are you using for the free shipping? for unfilfilled accounts, those are the best.

(although my account is fulfilled, the "vip" offers i'm getting are downright lousy.)
