Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
I just canceled out one account and opened a new one with 27B. Signed up online, here is my timeline:
-March 25, signed up with 27B
-March 31, paid for new account
-April 2, received Welcome to Club email
-April 3, received email that order shipped out
The fun thing about this is that they doubled my application. I am receiving two of each of my introductory dvds. And, I don't owe anything additional. Account balance is $0 and credit card was only charge for the $13.xx initial set. I momentarily thought about returning this, but won't. I consider myself an honest and good person, but I am not going to allow myself to be subject to what would happen if I sent one back or tried to get a hold of someone. The last time I was sent something by mistake, I had all sorts of problems with charges, resends of items that were mistakenly sent in the first place - then returns and more resends. It was an absolute headache to get this straight - and then I had to try and explain things to someone in customer service. It makes my head hurt just thinking of it.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
Just got a reply in the mail back, my enrollment code (used 59J I believe) was no longer valid, the new offer they sent me was 7 for 49 cents each, 1 for $14.95 (counts to enrollment), and can buy one more for $9.95. Only 4 more to buy if buy discounted one. And shipping added to everything.
What a deal...not!
Trying the 27B code next.

The most recently reported working phone enrollment code was AS6. ASE would probably work also. Be sure to call 888-242-3837; the other Columbia House phone numbers don't accept codes, last I checked.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
I just got an offer in the mail today:
PSC: 2KM
Offer: 8 DVDs for 49 cents each plus S&H. Add a 9th for $9.99 plus S&H and only have to buy 2, instead of 3, in the next 2 years. Add a 10th for $9.99 plus S&H.
PSN is needed.

does anyone know how much the S&H would be for the initial 9 dvds? would it be $18.91?

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
Isn't that just the same as the other 8:3/9:2 codes that have been floating around for the last year or so?
(Not dissing you zekeburger, just wondering if this one is different or if I am misremembering the terms of the other ones. And it's always nice to have new codes, even if the deals are the same...)

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
If someone would volunteer to take over the thread (sorry, I'm too lazy and disorganized), a new one could be created with a lot of updated info. There are now codes that are 7:2, 9:2, and 1:1:5 ( <- not even sure how to write that last one actually, enroll with 1, fulfill with 1, and get 5 free after that). I think most of those codes in the first post don't work anymore, either.
But like I said, new codes are always appreciated, even if the deals are the same. You never know when the others will stop working.

The codes with shipping charges are nearly always worse deals than the standard 7:2 codes with free shipping for enrollment DVDs. The 1:1:5 codes, such as B9V, are an exception.
As I have said before several times upthread, I can't take over this thread because I have enough on my plate already and I am on dial-up. The person who maintains this thread needs to be able to check enrollment codes quickly. And that means closing the browser or deleting cookies each time, else the previous offer tested will remain regardless of the new code entered. This is mighty tedious on dial-up.
Until someone steps forward, we will have to muddle along by perusing the later pages of the thread for the codes mentioned.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
Someone SHOULD start a new thread. Mostly so that new_comers don't get confused by the first post. Codes seem to be more scarce these days than they used to be. I don't see any harm in just having a casual thread dedicated to enrollment codes, and in order to find the best current codes, just browse back through the last couple pages of the thread. That is what we have been doing for quite a while anyway.

Just edit the 1st post to read:
For current codes, go to the last post and work your way back through the thread or whatever wording works.
Delete the rest of that 1st post......OR...close out this thread and start a NEW thread with instructions on how to find codes through the thread.
I ALWAYS start with the last post on any thread I read as that usually has the latest info.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II
Does seem like a good idea to consolidate codes. Is 27B still the best way to optimize an account? Saw that K7M was active on Columbia House (6:1) but read from posts two years ago that they were sending rejection letters for those that signed up with it. Does anybody know if it actually is active or has CH been two years behind in removing codes (typing the code in shows an old school CH banner)? Would make the avg price of a DVD around 4.67 which would make it slightly better than the 7:2.
