Seeing as the two codes were so similar (with only the 2nd to last digit different), I just tried every number from 20120106BRT0D thru 20120106BRT9D, but apparently 20120106BRT1D and 20120106BRT6D are the only valid codes. Oh well.

Thanks for this code SBJ. I ordered Shameless S1 BR for $22.96 shipped. Better than having to pay an extra $12 for a DVD with the B1G1 code (wasn't anything I really wanted on DVD). I still had 2 to buy and this one counted as 2 because the regular price was $49.95 before the 40% off.

Californication S4 on another account for $18.76 shipped (regular price is around $43) did count as 2 also.

Definitely a good way to fulfill your accounts. Hope the $10 off codes come out more often.

So I fulfilled 2 accounts for $41.72 ($67.50 total with 2 enrollments of 7 each including 11 sets or $4.22 each)

Thanks so much for the 10.00 code!!! I just wanted to confirm that it seems that this would work to fulfill an account. My DVD comes to $25.77 after the 40% discount. I noticed that when I put the promo code in, it deducted the price of the order, but not the price of the DVD. I have been waiting for a year for some sort of discount to fulfill and this seems like it would work!

Maybe I only have to buy one, since the members price is 42.95 before the 40% discount? I thought that I had to buy two?

Can somebody confirm if my thoughts are correct? THANK you VERY much!!!!

As posted in the post above yours, yes it counts as 2. I fullfilled 2 accounts with 2 titles. I ordered Shameless S1 BR for $22.96 shipped (member price is $49.95 before the 40% off). Thanks again bigjim25. I was at work and I was trying to read/understand your post in between what I was doing. I really should have been working! I have joined the TV club 4 or 5 times and I never knew that it was based on the regular price. I thought that I had to buy two at 19.95 after the discount. I am surprised that they count the price before the discount to qualify for fulfillment.

I guess I did not know because I always ordered two sets together that were over 19.95 each after the discount with a rare free shipping promotion on sets in the past. Between this new found understanding and the code I saved over $40.00!! I really did not have a second DVD in mind that I wanted right now. I was going to buy a second one that I kind of wanted to fulfill, as my year deadline was almost here. I placed my order for the one set. I think that I may cancel and rejoin in the near future with this new understanding!

I did really well this time, as I initially got cash back of $11.00 from a shopping site to join CH. (the offer is no longer available)

So did I. I actually asked that very same question on the last page (post #1072) and was told it had to net $19.95+ after the discount.

Perhaps the difference is that it has to be SOLD FOR $19.95+ before coupon discounts are applied? That's just my guess. We don't get coupons very often that are actually flat dollar discounts.

Joined the TV on DVD Club Tuesday to get The Lucy Show Season 2 & Season 4 since I haven't found them at Big Lots. I paid $19.98 for both of those and was accepted today so I order Two & A Half Men Season 8 for $19.96 with $10 off coupon to fulfill. I'm loving this coupon

That's the way it's worked in the past. Unlike Disney, CH counts the amount *before* the discount is applied so a coupon or % off doesn't negate a qualifying purchase.

Has anyone got any flack for ^^^ when closing their account. I have done this once before (order a single title with MSRP about 40) and it did indeed count as 2, but I also had a bunch of other orders on the account, so it wasn't so obvious that I did that. I have an account now that I fulfilled with a large box set and it counted as three. I was wondering if anyone has had a CSR come back with a denial on fulfilling your account because of this CH gitch, even though it says your account is fulfilled.

They finally have THE DEAD available for preorder. Since the current offer is $7.95 DVDs with the purchase of 1 at regular club price, using the $10 coupon actually makes it $2 cheaper than doing B1G1.
