Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
If they cancel something BEFORE I'm actually charged then that's fine, i'll live, but if they actually take that auth and turn it into a real charge taking my money and then cancel, I have a problem.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
I openned another account for TV Club on DVD tonight and got 10 orders from it. These weren't available as freebies in the regular club.
Andy Richter Controls the Universe: The Complete Series $9.95
The Lucy Show: The Complete Fifth Season $9.95
$19.90 enrollment + $38.87 for 10 BD (7 regular & 3 sets)
2 accounts of my own plus parent's account, plus had the bill me option on all 3. The TV account had a card on it so I order 5 on CC and 5 with paypal.

Thanks for all the quick answers to my questions. I opened a TV account and was able to get 8 15off orders in. My limitations were the unique CC and paypal accounts -- letting me do 2 orders with each new CC I entered -- even though I had used them yesterday. I wish I had done "Bill Me Now" on my enrollment yesterday because that would have taken care of most of my problems. Live and learn. A total of around 50 something orders which includes 2 new accounts and their fulfillments. I may try the other 2 15off tomorrow on my new TV acct, but for now I'm going to call it a night.

That's one of the best codes I've ever seen.
Managed to get in 20 separate orders for 20 copies of the "Jack and Jill" blu-ray (one for me and the rest will be Xmas gifts) and am now done for the night.

opened a TV account this morning and placed about 5 orders and now it's saying my CC is invalid and i can't log in to my account. i guess they're starting to catch on?
EDIT: nevermind, didn't realize only 5 orders per CC and i was trying to log in to the regular CH page instead of the TV one

Seriously? All comments about the particular film aside, I thought it was known by everyone in the club forum not to order too many copies of one title. To CH, that throws up a huge red flag,

if these orders actually go through it will almost make up for CH never getting their blu-ray club off the ground

Appears dead. Only works once per account now from what I understand.
Actually I guess "fixed" would be the correct word.

It's now completely dead. There is a chance that CH will honor this glitch. Even though everyone here and at blu-ray.com went hog wild, this never made it to the slickdeals and fatwallet boards. If it did, there would be no chance of these orders leaving the warehouse.

Slightly disappointed that I didn't get a few more orders in. I didn't go as crazy as others since that sales tax "error" made it a bit less of a deal. Since that appears to have corrected itself, I was going to go back for a few more things. Oh well, can't complain.

BTW, when I joined the TV DVD Club, many of the titles were at MSRP (I wanted to order 8 is Enough and Happy Endings). At least the BD's were at 40% off or I would have been up the creek..
yeah I knew that .. just forgot about the TV Club until Bigjim25 reminded me.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
From my experience CH usually honors these deals. THe only time I have ever had them cancel an order was when it was out of stock and they would not getting anymore....

If they do honor this, it's the deal of the year so far (for me anyway). It's like getting a price glitch honored.
Not only were the prices themselves unbelievable (especially for new releases), there's 40 bonus points to get around 2 more for $2.99 a pop.

I went ahead and tried for my "one" more.. both the $15 and the $10 codes say the apply to the order.. but nothing actually changes... it is like the codes are alive.. but the deal is 0.00 off... o well.. I got quite a few I wanted.. here's to hoping they are not canceled..
