^Good luck with that. I got the same message and when I called the system tells me 1315 is an invalid promo code. I'll try again in a few days just in case but be aware you may need to speak with a CS rep.

The Dark Knight Trilogy ultimate BD preorder appears on columbia house for 29.36 shipped. I gave it a try and hope to get the right one.

I never got that email about the director's selection. Is this for all accounts?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Is this for "DVD Club" accounts only?

I got the message for my DVD Club account, but NOT my "TV on DVD" account.

they've corrected it now - site shows $59.96 plus shipping...

but my order is still pending at the old price of $23.96 plus shipping!

I have an account that needs 3 to fulfill (don't ask me why). Anyway, if I buy something with a 59.95 MSRP and apply the coupon, it should count for all 3, right?

It did in the past and I'd think it still will. Just make sure the "MSRP" is shown as the "Club Price" as that's what they've been going by the past couple of years *if* the non-sale price is above the minumum purchase amount for a fulfillment. Example: Zena S2 has a "Club Price" of $19.95 but it doesn't count as a fulfillment as its "everyday" price is ~$11.97. Basically the "everyday" price has to meet the minimum before it'll count as a fulfillment. At that point they seem to be using the "Club Price" to determine the actual number of fulfillments for a selection so something with a "Club Price" of $59.95 should count as 3 no matter what the "sale" price is *if* the "everyday" price is $19.95 or higher.

That's a very good explanation of a fairly complicated situation. I was going to get Gone With the Wind BD Gift set, but it sold out before I was able to order it. I've done this kind of fulfillment before and I was hoping it was still working the same way. Thanks.

^Saw that yesterday. Quite possibly the best offer in a very long time - at least if you're mostly interested in box sets/TV seasons.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

So is the "bonus points" system gone forever?

Are all of our accumulated points lost?

Anybody heard anything about this?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

^I seem to recall an email a couple of months back that said they were "revamping" the system to make it "better" (but we've heard that one before). I don't recall what was said about accumulated points as I don't have any so it wasn't really on my radar.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

The new website is a mess. I tried to put in an order yesterday using the code. When the order was final processing, the spinning "processing" icon just sat there for the better part of an hour, and never progressed to a further order confirmation screen. I finally gave up and closed the site, and since I never got any kind of confirmation email, I assumed the order never processed.

So I just signed back in today, intending to try to place the order again. the items I was trying to order are still in my cart, but my order history shows three pending orders of the order I was trying to place yesterday. Now I assume I'm going to have call CS to straighten it out so they won't send me three shipments of the same thing because I can almost guarantee that their system and CS department are too stupid to realize it's the fault of their new "improved" system and that a customer wouldn't actually intentionally make three separate orders of the same two items in a five minute time interval.

Columbia House = massive fail. After twelve years using this same account (with a few other turnover accounts on the side), I may finally be done with them.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

That's odd. Because they have had a massive pricing glitch since this sale has begun. Over at Blu ray forum they are ordering tons of sets that discount as you order multiples of them. It's only on some DVD sets. Columbia house hasn't seemed to notice even though big sets like smallville and the tudors are mysteriously sold out.
I personally have not ordered anything like this.

I just received two e-mails on accounts that I had closed months ago. They better not have reactivated those old accounts.

I still get emails on old accounts about Director's Selections each month or so. I just delete'em and move on. Hopefully they haven't reactivated any and it was just sending out emails to every address, new or old, letting everyone kow about the new site.

The Shield: The Complete Series looks like a good deal at $39.97 - 20% = about $31.66. Pre-order to ship 9/3/13.

Saw that also. I already own each season, but I just hope that this release isn't like some of their other complete series releases that had all of the discs stacked on a spindle.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

It's almost as if the site is shut down. They don't seem to be answering the phones, nothing is shipping out, nothing going on at all. People are really giving it to them on their FB page too. They respond now and then telling people to call or that someone would call them, then the people reply back saying they haven't received any calls or responses or anything. So weird.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I responded to the e-mail messages a few weeks ago requesting that all user IDs be changed to e-mail addresses. Now I'm having all kinds of trouble accessing my accounts. On one, I changed the user name to a gmail e-mail address, just received a Director's Selection message at that address. When I try to log in, it's not recognizing the password as correct. I tried the forgot password option and the message was that the e-mail address is not associated with an existing account.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I tried logging in the first day it opened... I had trouble logging in... I was able to change my password ... but I had the same email for both accounts.. so it only changed on 1 and the other won't let me in at all.. I contacted them to find out if I still had 2 accounts or were they merged or did something go goofy because of 2 accounts with same email address.. they contacted me back today.. yikes.. how many days has that been... to inform me they are sorry I had trouble logging in... so they changed my password.. ugh..
