Can anyone post a picture of the Billy bookcases with the glass doors installed? Im debating about buying the doors for them, but I like the idea of cutting a lot of dust out.
And have we heard an answer on the depth 'problem' for these shelves. Or did the OP of the shelves also use foam?

Does anyone out there have a Lovan Essence TV stand? I was looking at the Lovan website and they have a really great overstock price on it right now. However stores that carry Lovan in my area do not carry it and the pictures on the websites never truly show how good/bad something looks like. If anyone has an opinion or possibly pictures of one intheir setup I would appreciate thoughts about it. I am more into the wood look instead of the metal glass look of most stands out there.

Not to stray too far off track, but I use the same line on my cats when they make too much noise: "As your attorney, I advise you to shut the **** up!" Man I love that movie.
Anyway, I'll post pics later in this spot.

prymal and REL77...
Thanks for your feedback! I'm still gonna look into the foam, if it isn't a cost-prohibitive measure. Hobby Lobby might also be a place to look besides Garden Ridge - I'll let ya know!

The only bummer of the weekend was watching Naked Lunch Sunday at like 3pm. The movie was not in the right time slot, and just seemed to drag on, and caused me to take a nice two hour nap

The next Film Fest is going to be intense: 3 Days. 15 Movies. Too many hours.

Im looking at the grey metallic ones. Any one buy any of these and vouch for them?

FYI, the grey metal doors are the only ones that come with the frosted glass. All the other glass doors come with the clear, see-through glass.

Can you put the doors on post-assembly? That is, if I buy and assemble the cases, could I put the doors on later?

The only catch is that the hinge mechanism takes up some of the slots that would normally hold a bookshelf. In other words, if you put the doors on, you won't be able to have seven evenly spaced shelfs per unit, the way Prymal has his bookcases set up. You can still get seven shelves on there (don't forget to buy the extra shelves!) but you'll have to store the DVDs on the top shelf on their side instead of vertically.
By the way, a big thanks to Prymal for posting his pics here in the first place and giving me the idea to get the Billys. I just moved into a new apartment in NYC and these cases are perfect for small living spaces.

Well, that ain't gonna work for me! I bought 12 glass shelves so I could have 8 shelves (center brace and bottom included) in each bookcase. I'm getting the metallic finish ones this weekend (for real this time), and the "metal" and glass look should be nice.
Thanks Rusty for the quick feedback - now you've gotta post a picture!!

I know.. the wires are a mess. I'm too lazy to make them look nicer and unfortunately I live in an apartment so I can't run them behind the wall.
