Here's my stuff. The first link is my setup from the sweet spot. It's a little dark, but you get the picture.

Sony KP65WS500 RPTV
Sony DVD player-I forget the model
Athena speakers-2 AS-F2s, 1 AS-C1, and 6 AS-B1s, also there's a cheap Sony sub, but that's the next upgrade.
Yamaha RX-V2400 receiver
X-box

Here's the DVD collection. Currently I think the count's up to 676.

Nice pics everbody. I've been inspired to head to IKEA before Easter Dinner.

Many folks have had a "Now Playing" DVD Display placard. Where can I get one of those?

Thanks signtist. You'll have so many more DVDs than you ever planned, just give it time.

QGJ, if you're asking me, then no, I don't use any of those. I have my list on an excel database on my own computer. I want to someday use one, mainly for insurance purposes, but for now I just take pictures to prove that they do exist. I can just here my insurance agent now..."You had how many DVDs?" Besides, I can imagine it would take some time to add that many DVDs to new account. I just haven't taken the time to do so. If I were to use one, which is the best? Easiest? Quickest to add titles?

DVD Aficionado has a "Quick Import" functionality that is awesome for entering in large collections. If you have a UPC scanner (like a CueCat), then DVD Profiler can be quick, otherwise, both it and Guzzlefish will take you some time because you have to enter them in individually.

aerobson...

The fastest is probably www.dvdaf.com. You can do a quick import by copying all of your titles from your Excel spreadsheet and pasting them into the Quick Import screen it provides. The only thing you have to do afterwards is pick the correct version of the DVD - some have multiples.

Djangos was the only B&M store that I know of that carried them. Alas, no longer.

Well, desided to take a quick shot of my small low-cost setup here.

Xbox , playstation 2, and gamecube (behind left door).
27inch phillips
Yamaha HTR-5630
Tosh. sd-4900
JVC S111 component switcher for ps2/xbox/dvd player.
ReplayTV just added the other day.

Some of the newer dvd grabs are in the front, while the others are in the door on the left with the gamecube and to the side.

I feel naked not having a sound system like my parents and their 32" tube.

My stock *shivers* 47" hdtv and My Elizabeth =D

Dvds laying around in front of my ws and below my cabinet my 24" tv in my room sits on top of.

My "book shelf" I recently cleared out for dvds and a shelf next to my window holding my boxsets.

If you havent noticed already a decent sized chunk of my collection consists of anime... I really like the treatment these companies like Geneon give their releases. For example.... X TV got a really nice sturdy box and each volume that was released were given limited edition slip covers. I just think they look really slick.

Damn! You caught me.

I have to thank the stocks I sold for giving me all my current equipment. But selling crack doesn't sound like bad idea.

Yea they are the Elt's and they are really nice speakers...I didn't get the sub though, I traded it out for another bookshelf for my 6.1. I plan on upgrading the sub soon.
