If anyone out there goes to a Walmart, Best Buy or anywhere else they know of, could you please grab a Widescreen version of "Revolver" with slipcover and i'll give you the same deal i gave Abintra....Paypal or money order for all your costs and i'll get you one of your top 3 slipcover needs. Here's a pic of the DVD. Slipcover looks just like it and i know Walmart carried quite a few, but that was a week ago. Thanks in advance for any help.....

I seem to have that slipcover for you!!!!! PM me

I'm pretty sure I'll have it listed on ebay tomorrow at the latest. If anyone from this forum wins it, I'll ship for free.

I'm thinking I'll probably put some stupid crazy BIN like 300.00 or something, but with a best offer choice. I'm kinda sad selling it as it really is cool to have owned a rare item and not even realized it most of the time, but the practical side of me says to take some Paypal for it and turn it into a bunch of other cool stuff that I really appreciate having.
Hey espin,
I might be interested in the X-men steel book. I've got the 1.5 and 2.0 steelbooks and every piece of marketing released with "Last Stand" (collectible tin, collector edition slipcover with comic, slurpee cups, slipcovers) so please post a link for the ebay auction or let me know how much you want and maybe it'll work out...thanks and good luck.

Twister 2 disc does NOT come with a slipcover (damnit) but the Bridges of Madison County Deluxe Ed. does.
On a side note, I own most of the WB 2 disc special editions. I wish they would be consistent with their packaging. I like their digipaks and slipcovers but every so often they feel the need to just not use them. It would make more sense to put a slipcover on the Twister dvd rather than the Bridges one.
Warner Bros!! Put slipcovers on your 2 disc special edition dvds please!!
Sorry if that rant sounds OCDish.

Hey Jnyahay, first of all, thanks for all the help you've been giving me lately!!

Secondly, what store has the Twister 2 disc? I've been waiting for this since last december when it was announced. What store did you see it in?

Also, Vale, noticed you didn't have "Spy Kids 2 - The Island of Lost Dreams" on the master list, absolutely has one, since i put it on the DVD case last night.

Another note, does anyone remember the movie "Time Machine" with "LA Confidential" and "Memento" star Guy Pearce updating the HG Wells classic? Anyway, dude on ebay is selling a Region 1 DVD from Canada saying it includes a slipcover.

I like this movie, not an uber-fan, but i think i would remember an sc. Anyone recall seeing a slipcover for "Time Machine"? Just want to make sure before i bid....

Shout outs!!

Just wanted to acknowledge some awesome board members who have been helping me out lately and to let them know it is completely and utterly appreciated...

ABINTRA!!! - Dude, you are the man amoung men. Thank you so much. Watched Sleepover with my kids this past weekend...awesome!! I'm surprised (actually not really) that they didn't change the DVD cover to match the new slipcover, i guess they just couldn't wait to market the movie as starring "Steve Carell, Jeff Garlin and Jane Lynch" who all together total about 15 mins of screen time. Then MGM totally leaves out Sara Paxton who is one of the hottest teen stars today and she is actually IN the movie..Anyway, thanks again pal..

JNYAHAY!!! - Sunshine State connection!! Got the "Revolver" SC yesterday...FANTASTIC...thank you so much!!! Not a bad movie either. Still looking for your classic covers. Target has a pretty good selection of classics but no SCs yet. Haven't got up the nerve to watch "Shutter" yet...maybe tonight with all this thunder and rain, could make a good back drop . I owe you big time, pal!!! I won't forget...

LOGIC 7!! Thanks for your response. I sent you a PM tonight with all my info. Look forward to many fruitful transactions in the future. Really appreciate you looking out...thank you!!

And without tearing up to much...I think it's awesome if we can all start pooling our various geographical resources to find virtually anything for any member. We should all use the signature field to list our top 3 and then really get interactive with this site. The seeds Vale has sown are bearing some serious anal retentive fruit (that sentence sounds really bad)...

On that note, Vale. I saw in Walmart last week a TON of new slipcovers all geared toward old 20th Century Fox musicals. They looked nice but i've never seen them in any other store so they might be exclusives, i'll let you know as i find out more. Now, i'll get some sleep so i can get up tomorrow and purchase my naked copy of the Twister 2 disc set...bastards.

Hey Snap - I don't know about some "anal retentive fruit", but I second the whole looking out for slipcovers for other members idea. I see various slipcovers all the time that I see in other people's signatures. Great idea!!!
Now i just have to reduce my top 4 slipcovers wanted to 3. Count me in.

Oh and by the way, thanks for the shout out!

Thanks Snap, but I saw that Circuit City will have it for $3.99 this coming Sunday, so I'm going to get it than and give the extra disc to a friend who liked the movie but never bought it.

New slipcover direct to DVD

Never heard of this flick, assuming it's straight to DVD since it's by that directing genious of Bloodrayne fame, Uwe Boll (somebody actually called him the "Master of Error"). He's back doing his video game to DVD thing and yes, i actually bought it.

Maybe the fact that Jason Statham plays a farmer namd "Farmer" should've been my first warning (then again, could the presence of T3's Kristana Loken also have been a motivator....hmmmmmmm).

Here's the cover for the big list, we don't discriminate here at "Slip Cover Central"...(still getting those Walmart musicals for ya, Vale)

Actually, this film had a nation wide release and was not direct-to-dvd, like Postal will be (huzzah!). My friend saw it on release day, said worst $7 ever spent in his life and the most disappointing Statham film. I'm a big Statham fan, but even I have not brought about enough courage to watch this one yet. Maybe eventualy.

Also, I went down to Wal-Mart today around 5:00 p.m. - they were just getting around to fixing the dvds. Only slipcover I saw was the National Treasure 2: 2-Disc collector's edition that I picked up. The one disc did not have one. Neither did Strange Wilderness. Blu-rays were not set up yet, but I'm still in Standard anyway. So just the one slipcover I know of to my knowledge. A pretty decent one too.

I was at VIRGIN megastore in midtown Manhattan today and I saw a slipcover for "HARD CANDY" which is aiming to capitalize on Ellen Paige's newfound "JUNO" fame. It's a pretty ugly design (I'll upload when I get a chance) but it was a nice addition to the copy I had. It's definitely considered a "re-issue" since I'm fairly certain this title never had a slipcover before.

I also came across both ALADDIN and Cinderella slipcovers... which I've been desperately searching for. Now I just need Bambi and Lady and the Tramp...

PS, I'm pretty sure the Kmart nearest to me has about 50+ copies of Night at the Museum with slipcovers on nearly all of them. Next time I'm there I'll do a double-check.

Don't confuse this with the 2 disc lenticular cover that Anchor Bay released like 10 years ago for the 20th anniv that included the ultra rare TV version with like 12 mins of extra footage that i stupidly sold on ebay in preperation for Blu Ray.
You can find the TV version sold separately by Anchor Bay for pretty cheap if you're looking for it. I have that and the 1 disc lenticular Anchor Bay put out.
