I like them all appearing here. Just wanted to alert you to that thread in case any possible additions pop up.

2 movies in the Christmas sections at stores are coming with sleeves, The Christmas Shoes and The Christmas Blessing. I believe Shoes is a re-release with a sleeve and Blessings, its sequel, is new.

Since there has been talk of the larger sized sleeves in the past, Target's exclusive book that comes with Superbad 2 disc edition gives it a slightly larger sleeve than the regular 2 disc edition at other stores.

Superbad sure has a lotta slipcovers.

The 1 Disc Theatrical and 1 Disc Unrated both have seperate slipcovers as well as the 2-Disc version AND now the Target version.

Any more crop up and it'll rival Superman Returns.

I saw the Dungeons & Dragons Cartoon box set, that came out last year, at Best Buy today now with a sleeve and exclusive collectible cards inside. The weird thing is that it was a Best Buy exclusive after Best Buy already had one last year(a metal dragon miniature) when the DVD set first came out and it wasn't mentioned in their weekly ad(I always though all of Best Buy's exclusives were listed in their ads unlike Target and Walmart). From what I could see, the sleeve(it is the same as the original cover but with darker colors and with a shiny metallic look to it) was put around the original box set(it looked like it was still was the same original red box).

But for some stupid reason, not the 1-disc version of Phoenix.

Ach! I couldn't remember when it came out. Oh well.

Thanks for the other two. I just got back from Wal-Mart and was about to add them plus:

Here's the link to this on Best Buy's site just in case you thought I was making this up. I don't know why it was never listed in a Best Buy Sunday ad?

Since I have made an effort to stay away from most stores due to Christmas shoppers, I don't know if this was an exclusive or not, but I saw a National Treasure 2-disc re-release at Target with a sleeve.

The Brothers Solomon DVD has a sleeve.

I also noticed that the 2-disc Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix sleeve has one with a gleam to it and others without. The covers are the same, it's just that there is a shine to most, but not all. I'm not talking about the Target exclusive since it was at a Best Buy that I saw this.

animatedude,

I'm not sure about Bugsy. I don't recall seeing it with one tho I could be wrong.

Smartass8,

Two versions of the same slipcover again, huh? It's like the embossed/non-embossed TMNT from earlier in the year. Warner strikes again.

Thanks.

Hey Vale,
Is there a new thread link or has no one really posted since you did on Christmas?
I know you must've put out at least a weekly update... I just wanted to mention, has anyone else noticed that a lot of studios are now wrapping the slipcase inside the shrinkwrap (like Jet Li's "War" this week)? I think our little obsession is gaining momentum and it won't be long until we start seeing really elaborate, multiple SC for the same movie just for collecting/marketing purposes (like they did with Album covers, comic books, etc...)
