The first season steelbook is one of my favorites but this one looks pretty bad.

Looks like a Blu-ray steelbook will be available too.

And Best Buy will also have an exclusive Primeval vol. 2 steelbook.

Looks like we went from a steelbook drought to the possible beginning of a steelbook deluge.

I'm definitely getting Star Trek and Transformers (especially since I have the first one in a steelbook), but since I don't have Connor Chronicles Season 1, I'll probably skip season 2.

I saw these on another site yesterday.. finally some decent steelbook action for the USA, hopefully these all follow through cause I will definitely pick up Transformers, Star Trek, and I wasn't planning on getting Sarah Conner Chronicles right away unless it was a steelbook so I am for sure getting that one. It almost makes up a little bit for it being canceled.

Suncoast. I was told that FYE said its only for DVD, no Blu-ray.

Well maybe they lied to you. I got an from e-mail Scanavo that more Blu-ray SteelBook is coming to Canada at the end of this year and only 1 (Terminator Sarah Connor Season 2) for USA.

How do you know Scanavo didn't lie to you? Did they sent you to get the cellphone picture from Suncoast too?

Hi. After checking out the Smallville season 8 metal slipcase and noticing the notch to pull the DVD out, it reminded me of the photo for Sarah Conner Chronicles. I emailed someone at Scanavo North America and had this reply:

"...please let the SteelBook™ community be aware that the Sarah Connor sku either DVD or BD is NOT SteelBook™ but only a metal sleeve. I have informed Warner to advise BBUS that this is false advertising and to rectify the situation immediately."

Just passing it along.

wtf... wow I might not be getting this after all if this is correct. What does the smallville metal sleeve look like? Pics?
