Hi. After checking out the Smallville season 8 metal slipcase and noticing the notch to pull the DVD out, it reminded me of the photo for Sarah Conner Chronicles. I emailed someone at Scanavo North America and had this reply:
"...please let the SteelBook™ community be aware that the Sarah Connor sku either DVD or BD is NOT SteelBook™ but only a metal sleeve. I have informed Warner to advise BBUS that this is false advertising and to rectify the situation immediately."
Just passing it along.

Awful news. I thought we might actually get a Season 1 and Season 2 SteelBook, but I guess that's not possible. Why Warner Bros. or Best Buy or whomever would opt to not get a SteelBook for Season 2 and instead the metal sleeve is beyond me. I just hope it is not as big and bulky as the Smallville set.

I think he means that Snow White is no longer a DVD SteelBook, but rather a Blu-ray one, so it doesn't belong on this list.

yeah, that is what i meant, but i am still confused as to what size the SW actually is. the pics make it look Standard. i guesss we will need more confirmation, perhaps tomorrow when the pre-ordering opens up.

after many agonizing months, i was finally able to fulfill my "Terminator" SteelBook™ complete collection fantasies. all made R1 except the original. "T2" also became my 100<sup>th</sup>. now, if only Salvation would be made in some country

i don't particularly care for the UK ones as they always have that damn ratings logo or two on the case artwork as "The Terminator" in pic proves 
but, if it is the way to complete it then so be it.
snaus, do you know if it is listed on amazon.uk or is it an exclusive for another particular store?

For anyone who's interested, I picked up the Royal Rumble 2009 steelbook at Toys R Us yesterday. I thought this was exclusive to Canada and Walmart, but sure enough, there it was. So anyone who's looking might want to check out a Toys R Us.

Its a G2 Steelbook and its sooooo gorgeous
Some interesting facts about this release:
- Its the second G2 Steelbook that was made to handle DVD ( as per Bestbuy's AD , this is also an offer pre-ordering the DVD combo pack) - 1st one (RAW vs Smackdown Videogame)
- The very first in North America - Steelbook with a slip case? (correct me if I'm wrong)
- The very first US steelbook which was offered/sold as an individual case
- And it comes with 3 UPCs

Can anyone whether or not there will be a US steelbook of WWE SummerSlam 2009. I know this year's Royal Rumble was exclusive to Wal-Mart and WrestleMania 25 was exclusive to FYE. I can only assume that the "big four" are in steelbooks now, like the tins were to FYE.
