DVD Talk Godfather
Looks like Treasure Island is indeed OOP - Amazon no longer lists it as being in print. The movie is very... peculiar (very art-schooly, best digested in short bursts). It does have some of the neatest DVD packaging I've ever gotten my hands on. If anyone sees it in stores for under $20, snap it up. I have serious doubts it will be come a collector's item - unless filmmaker Scott King makes a breakout film and suddenly this movie is impossible to find.

This item is still listed on Image Entertainment's web site and is still in stock with some suppliers and online vendors. It may not be "officially" OOP until Image has sold out their supply.

Re-OOP'ed cuz it was re-announced as being "back in print" for a short period. Could be that WB found a warehouse full of them, or that vendors were returning unsold copies that WB wished to dump....

It seems "official". Columiba/Sony are apparently allowing some of their rights to certain films to just lapse. These appear to be the first with more to come....

I would think that this is the one that's out of print, although the UPC shown for the OOP one does almost match the standard boxset.
