Yep, apparently some copies have 21 deleted scenes and some have 10. And it appears to be totally random with NO way of knowing which version you have.

And the Wal-Mart bonus disc X-Men comic documentary is 68 minutes long and quite good.

I think this shows that I need to go to Barnes and Noble next February...

Darn, I think I've missed all 3 of those, although the cartoon one sounds familiar....

On Napoleon Dynamite I remember some non-DVD exclusives only.

yah, all the napolean dynamite stuff was special packaging, etc.

the barnes & noble disc are pretty good. the cartoon disc has some looney tunes gems that are not available (until volume 4 comes out in november of this year)

this years disc, was a bit more lame as it had less content, and all of it could be found on other warner disc as extras

I put it in the first post also, but here is the new thread we started in the exchange forum.

It should perhaps be the only place where we post requests and offers for these bonus discs.

The first two bonus discs were fantastic. I hope that they return to form with their 2007 disc instead of giving us another disc like 2006.

I just got back from B&N and picked it up. Yes - it is a 4th Disc.

Sorry to have doubted you, Trevor. It'll never happen again.

Ever.

Good.

Now send me your bank account numbers and passwords

So I'm not sure if I even want that particular bonus disc. Wasn't that film from a cult or something (feeling too lazy to search the thread's here or google it)?

Very nice film btw, I especially love the credit lines.

Back on topic, so it looks like there is no real exclusive anywhere this week. Anyone been to Wal-Mart yet today?

FYI, the What the Bleep Bonus Disc contains a 39 minute featurette called Quantum Quandries. It's non-anamorphic letterboxed and seems to be exerpts from some of the interviews on the box set. There's a trailer for the box set at the very end so I'm guessing this showed up somewhere else before becoming an exclusive.

I just bought either my greatest, or silliest exclusive.

Best Buy just put out a limited edition of Robot Chicken Season One. It comes with a viewfinder and 5 or so cells.

I had been meaning to buy RC1 anyway, but I'm sure I'll regret the extra $15 or so I spent (it was $34.99) to get the viewfinder.

i planned on picking up the robot chicken exclusive at bb today. the dvd, viewfinder, and what looked like 3 cells all in a really gi-normous box. it turned me way off man!

i mean, if there was at least a bonus dvd with even 15 minutes or something. or if the box were smaller. or if it included some kind of action figure. or anything!

is this just me?

Oh yeah, it was horribly packaged, not sure what they were thinking. But for some reason it is so over the top cheesy that I think I'll end up keeping it.

But it will stay in the box of "maybe I should return this" until my 30 day return period is up.

But like I said, I really wanted to buy Robot Chicken anyway, as I believe it was written just for me (although I do wish it had slightly older toy references). I wish it was a bonus disc also.....

So are the "cels" like real View-Master reels, or is it just one frame that goes into the viewer? Seems like if they weren't truly stereoscopic it would be weird looking at them through the viewer. The box said there were five reels, so is that five reels full of stills or just one cel per reel?

Thanks.

Mike, I won't be able to tell you for 30 days probably, as I want to keep my options open and the package sealed to possibly return it. But you are able to click thru various "cells" while it is in the box ("try me!"), and I counted 6 different pictures. I didn't see any other "reels" in the packaging, but they could be hiding.

Ah, okay, that helps. I guess the main thing is for me to watch more "Robot Chicken" so I'll know for sure whether I'd even want S1, with or without the viewer.

Hmm, what's on that disc? I had asked about it a month or more ago and they said they didn't have any. Just curious, thanks.
