SterlingBen .. just tag it.

For example:

(URL=http://img150.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nskoreanles5ey.jpg)(img)http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/4...jpg(/img)(/url)

Just replacee the "(" ")" with "[" "]" where appropriate and you get the preview picture.

When I arrive there I will take a trip to that Daly City branch just to see what they have anyway.
How difficult would it be to get to the nearest Best Bay in that area?

I live in Daly City and if you're still interested in checking out Target (for whatever exclusives they may have at that time) and Best Buy, you could easily stop by both of them in Colma (Daly City and Colma are pretty much in the same area). Easiest way is to take BART (like someone said earlier, it's just like our mini-version of The Tube) and get off at Colma (not Daly City). I estimate that Target and Best Buy are about 15-20 minutes walk from the Colma Bart Station. Unfortunately there's not much in between for you to sight-see.

I posted in one of the earlier versions of this thread but its been a while since I posted updated pics. I'm still in the process of slowly but surely putting the finishing touches on the room. I still haven't bought a rug yet and looking at all the remotes it reminds me I need a decent universal remote. I also plan on getting some dts and dolby digital signs and am considering adding a signed movie poster from Clerks 2 from Kevin Smith's site.

MichaelMeyers...That is one sweet set up!!! Your shelving is really cool. I need to find something similiar to that that can keep little fingers out!! Perhaps I could get some barbed wire or some type of electrical fence

Thanks everyone for the positive comments...the shelving units are actually four seperate units I picked up at Target last fall for about $25 bucks a piece. I then bracketed the units together and used L-Brackets to connect them to the wall.

The certificate on the wall is a fake diploma a friend of mine made giving me a doctorate in asshat-ery (

It's the region 2 Japanese Ultimate Edition DTS (with slipcover) release. Can be found here: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B...1958&s=gateway

With shipping, it will probably set you back about $40 usd.

No prob, mate. As far as VisitorQ goes, I'd probably need to know a little more about what you're into before submitting a recommendation. It's an odd, tainting film that can definately leave a mark .. but the messages are simple and pure. And for what it's worth, the ending (somewhat twisted by most people's standards) is a happy one. "Visitor Q" ends up being a saviour of sorts. A lot of moral and ethical boundaries are shredded in this film (necrophilia, incest, son beating his mom, bodily fluid extravaganza, the list goes on ...), so if you don't have the stomach for it .. pass on it.

Though I have to say and as bad as it is to admit .. the bathroom scene was one of the funniest sequences I have ever witnessed in a film - epitomizing my interest in dark humor.

A really good poor man's universal remote line is the One For All's. They're great if you're cheap and also a ibt of a a do-it-yourselfer. I've been using the Cinema 7 for years and I love it! These remotes can learn functions from other remotes, and you can also program macros, all for $15 - $50. Obviously thy're not as nice or as simple to set up as the Harmonys, but they work great.

This is a great site for researching universal remotes in general.

Check out One For All user reviews here.

Visitor Q is right about the ID4, it really is a nice piece of packaging.

I would suggest the Logitech® Harmony® Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360. SLP: $129.99 USD.

I bought the Harmony 880 around a year ago since I had the problem of 8 different remotes. At the time it sort of hurt to pay $249 for a remote, but ever since I have never regretted it. It is easily worth twice that to me. So nice to be able to go from watching TV to watching DVD with one button (used to take 3 remotes and several buttons). Also the Harmony was easy to set up once I figured out their web setup. It looks like you've invested quite a bit in your home entertainment, do yourself a favor and get a good remote, it's definitely worth it.

By the way, I wouldn't be surprised if you can find the 880 cheaper than $249 since I got mine a year ago.

Thanks for all the remote feedback...I actually picked up the Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360 this afternoon. It wound up only being $104 w/ the 20% off back to school coupon @ Best Buy. I just finished the initial set up and I had no problems. I'm sure there will be further tweeking though once I start using it. I'm sure my wife will like the easy to use activity buttons as she can't make heads or tails of anything with all the different remotes, settings, etc.

I posted this over the video game thread but thought I'd copy it over here as well. Here's a few pics of my setup in my new house. The media room is 20' x 30' with three gaming areas. Big screen, small screen and PC. I have an extra spot I'm saving for a Ms. Pac cocktail when I find one. I've still got a little work to do. I still need to hang my movie posters and rearrange my nick nacks.

Main area:

Sitting area:

TV:

Rack:

DVDs and Games:

Second Gaming area:

PC:

Upstairs 40" Samsung LCD:
