Was it agreed that Death Proof was included? I'm narrowing down 3-4 to watch tonight at midnight and was going to throw it in if its eligible.

I would count it. At least the first half is a slasher/stalker film that culminates in a pretty horrific scene (just takes a whole lot of blabbing to get there).

Actually the more I think of it there are more comedic horror movies like Shaun of the Dead and Ernest Scared Stupid.

Though Little Nicky isn't a comedic horror movie, it's just a comedic film.

Also I would include Death Proof and Planet Terror (out on 10/16)

Just a few hours until midnight here on the east coast. I've got to be up for work at 6am tomorrow so I may or may not get off to an early start tonight. If I do decide to stay up late, I'll more than likely just start with a Masters of Horror or something short and easy to kick it off.

Anybody got any plans for the start?

I have Dawn of the Dead HD-DVD, Death Proof, and 1408 Director's Cut lined up for a triple feature starting at midnight. I also set the DVR for Silence of the Lambs (HDNet Movies) and Hostel (Showtime HD) to watch tomorrow.

I'm planning on watching Black Christmas (the new one) at midnight then right after that I'm thinking April Fool's Day. After that I will sleep at 3am and then when I get up...more!

I've got work and grading to do so I'll definitely be up that late. I plan to start off with The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari at midnight. In addition to its historical significance, it's not too long, so doubly good for tonight.

I see there's around 90 people signed up in the other thread. Happy watching!

I think I'll start off with some Texas Chainsaw Massacres. Is there a better movie title than that?

I've been thinking about how I want to kick off the challenge.

I'm going to take the easy way out and end it off with a Halloween film marathon, possible watching 6 or so of them on the 31st.

But I am not at all sure on how to start it. I was going to start with The Exorcist, as I have actually never seen that film, and I will change that during this challenge. But exorcism films freak me out, they're a bit too real, so I'll wait and watch that when I have time to watch something like Shaun of the Dead after it.

I thought about starting with Horror 101 and 102, seemed appropriate.

But I think I'll start with a MST3K horror film, and one of my favorite guilty pleasures, The Brain That Wouldn't Die.

I have to wake up at 0500, but who needs sleep, I need to start things off right at midnight.

I'm gonna start off with Bug (2007) then with some of the movies in the Twisted Terror Collection.

Sure is - "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers". You said title, not movie!

I plan on catching "Night of the Comet" and "The Host" before hitting the hay tonight. I'm also gonna try and squeeze in one more in the morning before work, which means I'll probably be getting around 4 hours of sleep tonight. And I'm currently undecided on what or how many I'll be watching tomorrow evening.

I have "Masters of Horror: Sounds Like" from Netflix, so I'm gonna watch that in about 10 minutes here. After that it will depend on how sleepy I am and how alert I want to be at work tomorrow.

I have to get up at 5:30 am and I got no sleep last night so I feel like crap. Therefore, I will start tomorrow. If it's a slow day at work, I'll try to watch at least one movie. Which means I need to figure out what that would be in the next 15 minutes when I go to bed. I'm leaning towards Hellraiser.

Why did I start this challenge with a movie called "Flight of the Living Dead"? It's horrible!

This was a blast last year. EdtheRipper introduced me to this site, and I'm glad he did. Can't wait to do it again. I'm hoping to watch more than last year (60), although it will be hard.

Hey hey, everyone. Haven't been around here in a while but how could I stay away this? Probably won't get too many this go around (100 last year) due to (fun filled) 7 day work weeks, but I'll give it a shot.

I couldn't start last night.
I was too damn tired to make it until midnight. I'll be starting up this evening after work with 1408.
