100 Movies. 31 Days. The 3rd Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

So I watched my first MOH movie last night, a whole bunch of them are on watch it now for netflix so I just chose first on the list, which happened to be Jenifer. Wow, all I can say is I'm very happy I could see what was going to happen before it did so I could turn the other way, so I did watch most of it, but there were parts where I just watched my moms face get all squinted and her saying ew repeatedly. I did read reviews where people said it was the most graphic, so my question for people who have watched a lot of these is, is that the case I just happened to pick the most graphic and sick one, or are all of them like this and I should just delete them from my list now?

Each title you watch has to be connected to the previous one...could be by an actor, the type of movie, director, anything you choose...
I know it would probably be difficult, but not impossible. I was thinking about the movies I'll be watching this month and figured it'd be easy to go through the Friday the 13th series and from Freddy vs. Jason to the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, transitioning into more Wes Cravens stuff and so on.
Kind of a 6 degrees of horror movies challenge...
Just food for thought, I don't think I'm tying myself down like that...at least not this year.

The only thing in common that I could find was that they were both distributed by the same company........ in Argentina.

there's one murder in 'Cigarette Burns' that was shocking in it's explicitness, the MPAA would have had clipped out in a seconds time.

If I'm not mistaken, these threads weren't made stickies last year either. Hopefully that will be rectified this time around.

I actually think that threads get more exposure when they are not stickied.
Many people ignore the multiple stickied threads at the top of most forums, but quickly see the ones that are frequently getting bumped back towards the top.
I think we'll get more exposure by occasionally slipping to page two and then getting bumped back up, than by staying in a static spot.
Now, if no one cares about the threads getting exposure, but simply wants them stickied to make it easier to find yourself, I suggest one or all of the following.
Adding your post as a link in your sig.
Subscribing to the thread and getting the emails.
Adding them to your favorites.

Rewatched Friday the 13th tonight. It cracked me up how Mama Vorhees spent the day like a commando on amphetamines: hiding under beds, stealthily cutting throats, moving the dead bodies of full-grown men.
Then in her final battle with the lone survivor? She starts out with a series of bitch-slaps, rolls around & bites a forearm, gets knocked down with half-an-oar. Then just stands there as a skinny chick runs 20 feet at her with an axe.
Makes me wonder if they were just setting up a sequel...

For the 1900s, I'm thinking films featuring Quasimodo included Alice Guy's Esmeralda (1906),or The Hunchback (1909) would be fun.
I can find information on these films, but I can't find the actual films on the net or on DVD in my limited searching.
I figured someone in this thread is bound to have something for me.

I'll keep looking, but I would imagine that somebody in this thread has something, hopefully they'll see one of these posts.
