Any answer to my question? I understand if it's not priority or if Meta is giving you guys difficulty allowing it. Just curious.

I have a BB Code that works properly to embed Instagram posts, if an admin wants to add it, rather than waiting for IB to (maybe never?) fix the media embedding add-on. It's not as convenient as pasting a bare Instagram URL (you have to copy and paste the unique post ID into the BB Code), but it works and has not broken in almost 10 years of use. It uses the official Instagram API embed code.
