I found Cinderella Man at a local Target. It was marked $13.98. Shame I already own it (and payed too much for it). For 4.98 I might have bought another copy to trade or something.

Posted in Avs forum. Bestbuy.com currently has Invincible dvd mislabeled as a Blu ray disc for the dvd sale price of $15.99. It's a preorder but in store pick up is available as an option. You might be able to get them to honor their mistake as it clearly lists the item as a blu ray disc. Not sure if they have to sell it to you at that price or not. I placed an order and am awaiting the email notification.

I wonder how that is going to turn out, since it has the sku/coverart for the SD DVD. They have the Blu-ray disc listed separately at $29.99. Not sure if I want to try it with the possible hassle of getting the wrong version.

Worked for me on the second try. Tried yesterday night and they had brought out the dvd version. I asked for the blu ray version, but said they hadn't put it out yet. They later realized they weren't supposed to sell me the dvd version they readily handed to me either. A nice sales girl said she'd take care of it for me and asked me to come back today to pick it up. I decided to order it again at a closer BB and used a GC. Went to pick it up and anticipated to correc the mistake. They came out with the blu-ray version. So, YMMV, but you should still leave with the blu-ray version as it'll be clearly stated in your confirmation email. Even BB can't argue out of that one.

thats sorta what happened to me.
i gave the girl the slip and she said it was nt up yet. so the guy goes to grab one of the shelf.

he walks over with the sd dvd.
i just said to her it was an order for the blu ray version.

she just told the guy to get the br version.

but they werent unpacked from the back yet.
so i had to wait about 20 minutes 'till they found them from the back.

Hmm, okay. I think I'll go ahead and place an order for it then. Thanks for the heads up.

edit: Damnit, looks like they fixed it overnight.

Hey flash, I should still be able to get that copy from the first Best Buy I ordered from. They weren't able to get them yesterday, but should have it today. I was just going to cancel my order, but would be glad to send it to you for cost plus shipping. Email me if interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I am going to pass. I haven't seen the movie before and after tax + shipping it isn't really worth it for me, I am going to rent it instead.

This is really the very first film I really wish I could have on HD-DVD. I will just suck it up and get the SD for now :-( Was an amazing film!

Best Buy has 2 free HD DVDS with the purchase of a player. I added titles like Smallville Season 5 and Mission Impossible collection, both rang up free on-line.

The same thing applies to the Samsung Blu-ray as well.

There is also a 50% off sale on HBO box sets. Apparently it's not supposed to work with the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD Sopranos set, but if you get a dumb cashier, you may get away with it. The sale is only today though.

Heads up for BD owners, The Descent is now available for purchase on Buy.com. It's only $30.10 so this makes it a great pick to pair with another cheaper title to make it a $50 combo to qualify for the GC $20 discount.

Yeah, pretty good deal. Went ahead and picked that and "Into The Blue" up, can't resist Jessica Alba in HD.

I just upgraded my receiver so the A2 will work well with the hdmi input.

Now to ebay my old receiver and A1.
