The MI Set might be decent deal for those that missed out on the Amazon and Google Checkout discounts. It should be $52 with 20% off
Most of the $21 titles will be just a few cents under Amazon's 10% discount pricing.

I've got a shitload of blu-rays on order with DVDEmpire for next Tuesday. If they all ship out tomorrow like they usually do I will keep them on order, since I'll get them on Monday and god knows when I'd get them from DDD. If DE ends up back-ordering any, I'll go with the 20% off from DDD then.

Just a quick note that the Forbidden Planet Ultimate set is now showing the 10% off discount. Amazon actually canceled my order and had me reorder it (I had asked them about the 10% not working and they put some funky $8 discount on it and decided not to honor it now), but gave me a $10 promo certificate for doing it. I'm getting this one for under $28.

You have to wait until 11/14 to order it, but it'll come to $15.96.
Never mind. They raised the price this weekend.

FWIW, I think I was banned from using Google checkout. lol.
No emails. Nothing. They just closed my credit card history out and the only option I had was to delete the account.
I noticed over the past 1-2 months that after every nine orders I placed they would say I have a declined card, which was not true according to my credit card company.
I'm going to assume they didn't like losing $10 of each of my many orders.
* Update: I was able to finally update my credit card info, even though the account was canceled. I have no idea what happened. Either something was wrong with the site, I doubt, or they put my card on a hold. I wasn't able to update it until after midnight. Now when I log in it shows my previous account info.

FWIW, the Google Checkout $10 off $30 deal has resumed for DVD Empire, CD Universe, and Best Prices, in addition to continuing at Buy.com.
I haven't seen anything on expiration dates yet.

XBox 360's for $100 From Amazon
I am posting this in the HD forum for the simple reason that some peole might be interested in this deal as a way to get a HD-DVD player by getting the 360 for super cheap and then getting the HD-DVD add-on.
Anyways if you feel that this post is still in the wrong forum then please move it for me.
The deal is that 1000 XBox360 units will be going on sale on Amazon.com for only 100 bucks each, thats right 100 bucks a pop. That is a killer steal of a deal and info can be found here
hxxp://amazon.com/gp/holiday/cv/homepage
Its the customer vote thingy and the 360 is one of four possible products that will be sold and as the numbers are showing it will without a doubt be the XBox360 deal as its like over 80% in favor of the XBox deal. So basically if you could get one of these for 100 bucks and get the add-on from Curcuit City with that 40 dollar coupon and you would have a XBox360 w/ HD-DVD cpability for only 260.00. That is a killer deal and might just help a couple of you get off of the fence and jump on in. I am going to be trying for one of these myself as a 2nd machine in my house.
Good luck to all those that try for one, once te 1000 are gone, its over!
PS...
