Damn, I thought NbyNW was an AWESOME dvd title and the transfer looked great. I watched the DVD on the XA2 and it looked like HD.

As for the rest of the list, its going to break me!!

Sounds like mostly a lot of crap that they should have put on the disc in the first place, rather than requiring you to connect to the internet to get it. How long will that content even be available online?

Too bad it's not the vastly superior seasons one and/or two. Regardless, this is a reasonably good sign for other Warner TV shows. I'm really hoping we see season two of Supernatural on HD DVD, too.

Cool! I don't care about Nip/Tuck, but hopefully this means all their upcoming TV shows are released day-and-date on HD-DVD/Blu-ray.

I'm getting Nip/Tuck for sure, even though it's not as good as it once was, season 4 was better than season 3. I too am really hoping for a Supernatural HD release...

Hopefully, Lost and 24 releases will start at Season 1. I'm not crazy about the trend of releasing the latest seasons only (like Sopranos, Smallville, and now Nip/Tuck).

24 Season 1 was supposed to be out in the spring. But as we know, Fox then proceeded to cancel every title not named Night At the Museum or Eragon.

I know why people would prefer them to start at 1, but honestly, i'm probably not going to rebuy a lot of these TV sets...so I'm more than happy with them releasing the current season...I'm all for releasing back catalogue tv season, just make sure they keep the current releases coming!

I noted this on AVS too... but if Grubert is seeing this, it looks like all of the Universal HD DVDs for 5/29 didn't make your list. Dragonheart, Lost in Translation, The River, Midnight Run, and The Frighteners.

8/28 - Dawn of the Dead (2004), Heroes: The Complete First Season, The Hurricane, Notting Hill

9/25 - Cat People, Evening, The Getaway, Knocked Up, Patch Adams"

That list is quite underwhelming. Knocked Up and Hot Fuzz are the only things of interest.

Ill get Hot Fuzz, Meet the Fockers and Dawn of the Dead for sure.

Possibly Heroes and BSG (Ive never seen the latter).

Also, Knocked Up trailer looks good, so well see how it actually is.

Universal has moved the street date for Dead Silence on DVD and HD-DVD to 6/26 (from 7/10).

Different strokes. I'm giddy as a schoolgirl over The Last Starfighter. And I'm grabbing 6 others in addition to that.

I love the variety that Universal is putting out there -- recent stuff, catalog stuff, sci-fi, chick flicks, horror drama, TV shows... something for everyone.

Five posts since Skoobooz post with Digital Bits insider info and no Bill Hunt digs??? That has got to be a record!

Back on topic, some interesting choices for release. I would pick up BSG, Dawn of the Dead, For Love of the Game, Last Starfighter and probably Knocked Up. I have not even heard of a couple of those...
