I expect that Paramount will only be bringing out the Jack Ryan movies in their "collection" and not as separate releases...disappointing for those of us who, as usual, just want the first movie. Oh well, at least there's always eBay or waiting six months until they release them separately.
But hey, two discs for Face/Off? Great news.

I'll be buying Face/Off and maybe Top Gun out of the Paramount titles and Immortal Beloved out of the Sony titles. I would love to just get The Hunt for Red October out of the Jack Ryan movies.
I hope they're wrong about IB only having a featurette, since there was a commentary on the DVD. I have a feeling it's there, because I don't know of any Sony titles that have dropped a commentary.

Hopefully, the Jack Ryan movies are seperate. I hate this "collection" crap they're trying to force on those who want to get specific titles but don't want to six months for them to be sold seperate, like the Mission Impossible flicks. I just want Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger.

Any word on The Invisible? Seeing as I didn't get a chance to see it when it first came out I'd love to be able to watch it in HD. I don't think it even had a release for DVD, but knowing if it'll come out on HD DVD or Blu Ray would be nice

I limited it to just Sony titles. There are plenty of other Blu-ray titles that dropped the commentaries. Fox is one of the worst offenders.

Or, they want you to buy the DVD edition as well to get the bonus features.

'Saturday Night Fever' to Boogie to Blu-ray, HD DVD This Fall
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the seminal '70s classic 'Saturday Night Fever' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this September.
One of the most influential films of its era, 'Saturday Night Fever' turned John Travolta into a star, scored the Bee Gees an unprecedented string of No. 1 disco hits, and single-handedly made the world safe for white polyester leisure suits.
Paramount has set a September 18 bow for the film's high-def debut on both Blu-ray and HD DVD.
Though no specs have yet been announced, the next-gen versions will debut simultaneously with a new 30th Anniversary Edition on standard-def DVD, so we can only hope for a wealth of new bonus content.
Paramount has set a retail price of $29.95 for both versions.
