Hrmph...this blows.

I would also not be to terribly surprised to see the $27.95 HD combo titles deleted from the sale.

I only made one order, and I went to change the shipping today to see the cost and when it would be delivered, since the fuckers weren't gonna ship for a week even though everything is in stock. Fuck'em!

Promotion discount disappeared so I canceled the order, bastiges!

Not sure if the discount was still there before I changed the shipping, but it sure wasn't afterwards. Sons of bitches!

Paying the initial $80 for Prime was daunting- but 5 months in, I'm glad I got it, and will likely sign up for it again next year.

It's been well worth it (for both Amazon and me). I've ordered 10 times as much stuff thru them as I have in the past, and even if the price is a bit higher than somewhere else, the lure of getting it within 2 days is hard to resist.

And a couple times lready, I've been out on a Tuesday morning hoping to get something from a local retailer, only to find they won't be stocking it.
I go home, order, and two days later the stuff is on my doorstep- and cheaper than if I had bought it locally.

hard to beat that.

This may not have been a glitch. If it was something dire, there would have been all HD DVDs available. We have a bunch of HD DVDs collecting dust and the best way to get them off the shelves is to create an "error environment" so people go fucking nuts when they order because hey, it's a mistake! So, everyone, even their grandmother, orders a shitload of HD DVDs, and now guess what...yah gotta get an HD DVD player.

This was a great way to get some non-HD DVD player owners to now speed up their player purchases.

Well...the sale was advertised on the respective Blu-ray and HD DVD pages...so I'm pretty sure it wasn't an error

My stuff was delivered today but I wasn't home... Looks like I need to get home early tomorrow.

My first of two orders shipped, so...thank goodness. I was worried for a moment.

Ain't that the truth...I think my copy of The Searchers that I got from Amazon literally had half an inch of dust on it.

I had ordered 300, Shaun of the Dead, and Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I received them today. The promotion was not applied, though my email from the order says it was. I emailed Amazon about this. My total should've been $47.90. Instead it was $67.85. Grrrr....

All you have to do is call your credit card company and fax the email confirmation showing the correct total. They'll handle the credit with Amazon.

I sent a customer service request to Amazon. They credited my card. Yay!
