Wal-Mart prices are notoriously regional anyway. There's no guarantee it'll even be $19.95 at the one you go to, though the next one over may have it for that price.

I just want to know if that's a single disc from Wal-Mart, or if it's a four discer. If it doesn't have the book or other bells and whistles, that's fine. If it's missing the other bonus content that come on the extra discs, I'm going to be spending the extra dough at Best Buy on Tuesday.

At that price point, I'm very skeptical.

I'm also concerned by The Digital Bits wording that the Target edition may simply be a combo pack (Blu-ray and DVD copies).

Well, the big set is also a combo. 2 BDs and 2 DVDs.

I would think the Target set would be the same, especially if it's not like the German set and doesn't include any of the trinkets.

I can't see how you could get all of that for $20

If the WM one had all 4 discs in a regular case, im still more tempted to get the Target one for the booklet and few other extras.

I believe the 2 DVDs are the 6 hour documentary and a digital copy. If you don't care about digital copies, I think the same documentary is included with GWTW. For anyone planning on getting both, that could leave the opportunity to go with the 2-disc now and get the big GWTW set later with no lost disc content.

Correct. It looks the 6 hour doc is a double-sided and the last DVD is just a Digital Copy. I would guess the Wal-mart versions nixes both of those.

But as I reminder, GWTW will have the exact same 6 hour DVD in its big set and (likely) Target Exclusive. I bet you can buy that DVD by itself from someone who buys two of the big sets (like me) and does not want 2 copies of the 6 hour doc.

But they have a seperate listing for the UCE. Thats pretty steep for a digibook. As much as I'd like to have a digibook version of TWoO, I wouldn't dare pay that price. Looks like its Target or Wal-Mart for me.

They likely have two SKUs for the general UCE release and the UCE release with their exclusive art prints.

But the one he posted says "3PC" plus it looks to have some sort of sticker in the bottom left corner that I don't recall seeing on the box set. I truly hope BB isn't selling a digi for $55, but imo it looks like thats what it could be.

The guy at AVS who got it early at Walmart posted a bunch more pics today, and the "Walmart exclusive" sticker on the front of it lists a few of the special features that are located on the second (non-movie) Blu-ray Disc....
SO, chances are looking really good that the Walmart edition just contains the two BDs in a regular case....for $19.99, I know that's where I am heading Tuesday...

Perhaps, but the problem in my area is that the two local Wal-marts don't stock Blu-Ray for shit, and Target only gets a very limited supply that usually sells out shortly after being placed on the shelf. (Sometimes a week early in case of both stores)
