Oh, that's right. I forgot there are 3 disks in a case, not 2.

I see a couple people mentioning a $54.99 price at Best Buy. Their site's showing $64.99 and it's not in their ad. Am I missing something?

So are those normal thickness cases, or ultra-thins like the Matrix set?

I don't see any indication that's the actual reason why those are there. I kind of figured that they were just trying to make them look cool.

Why else would they number them then? I don't think it looks cool. Its so you know what order they go in.

I don't see why anyone wouldn't know what order they go in

And one of them is titled X-Men! Which sorta sounds like a first move in a series, doesn't it? It certainly sounds like one more than a film called X-Men: The Last Stand.

Yeah... if people don't understand the order that's really sad. And these movies aren't really that old at all so I'd think most people purchasing this set would know.

Then I guess they just think we're really dumb. There is no other reason to have them numbered like that.

I can live with the x1 x2 x3 at the bottom of each case, because it could have been worse we could be getting a box set that didnt have individual cases.

I can't tell from the covers. Is Wolverine in all 3 movies?

Why?! Have we not learned from the 9-disk Alien Quadrilogy monstrosity?

Agree. I was going to get this at Amazon, but I can trade in some stuff at MovieStop, and they will match BB price, and the coupon would make it even better.

If Lionsgate had done this with the Rambo series, that I would have understood.

Re: X-Men Trilogy (9 Disc Set) --------> April, 21st 2009

The cover of the inner box looks way better than the "I'm Wolverine, check out this ass" cover they're currently sporting. Dumb decision on marketing's part...

what is the BB price? I just want the second one, and not necessarily all three.

The set is $54.99. They are each $29.99 in store, unless they put them on sale.

if they were the Amazon sale price of 23.99 I'd bite, since I have a five dollar BB gift certificate, but I'll wait and see what will happen come the Saturday/Sunday insert BB ad. but ... since the set is 54.99, and with my GC it'd average out to $16.66 a disc (minus tax) hmmm (really didn't care for the third movie)

This may have been answered before, but will there be movie cash with the box set/individual releases?

nevermind all my questions are answered in post #128

Best Buy Canada has the individual films for sale at $19.99 when they come out. They'll probably be at the same price at Best Buy US.
