That seems wrong. I put in my order at 8:00 last night and found the e-mail with the shipping label in my junk mail 20 minutes later.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

What's the deal with the Matrix -stand alone and the Matrix Ultimate Edition?

So if you have the hd dvd Matrix box set you can get both because all they ask for the Matrix Ultimate is the UPC for Matrix Revolutions. And you can send in the UPC for the Matrix in exchange for the 10th anniversary. Does that make sense or am I totally missing the point?

That's pretty much the sum of it. I'm pretty lucky in that I have the Matrix Trilogy, and will get the Ultimate Edition and the Matrix digipak.

Sweet! I'll order it on inetvideo and probably trade the box set for something else. To tell you the truth, I'm still happy with my HD DVD player but some of these trade ins are good for trade.

It has been days and I have gotten nothing from them in Spam or otherwise. I also sent an email asking about my order and have not received a response. They had no issues charging my credit card just in sending me the mailing info.

Anyone know how long it takes to hear that they received my covers? Will they notify us?

It's WB.

Take pics and certify your mailing. I can't wait for the threads and posts coming several weeks from now, complaining about how they never got any notification from WB.

I may take a chance on the Matrix thing, however.

Did you use certified mail and use the postage label they provided. I was gonna add signature confirmation and just use their mail label if possible and not use certified mail.. How much was it to certify it? Did you get return receipt too.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I haven't done it yet, but I am going to if I see any problems. pmreed seems to indicate there is a record already, so added certification may not be necessary.

Of course, the address may not "accept" direct signature and instead only delivery confirmation as well. I'm still on the fence about upgrading. However, there are a few deals to be had, and pending any cosmic price increase, I'll upgrade my Matrix trilogy.

I'm on the fence about this...I don't know if I care to swap out any of these for a fee. Maybe my Ultimate Matrix set...or possibly the Ocean's Set. Hmm...

Checked my First Class number & it says my covers arrived yesterday morning.

This was in the order e-mail:
How to Send Us Your Cover Art
<snip>
3. Drop in a US Postal Service mailbox. You will receive a confirmation email when the envelope reaches our processing center.
Haven't got that yet.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but do we just include the cover art in the envelope? If so, should I assume that the mailing label is what is used to identify me and my order? Thanks!

I thought of that very question after I put my covers in the mail today. I went back and read thru everything again and don't see where says to include anything with the cover art if you use the printed out mailing label.

There's a string of numbers on the mailing label (above the address, IIRC). Your order number is part of that string of numbers, so that is how they figure out which order is yours.

1-866-276-6176 is the number in case anyone has issues getting their label. I made a call and quickly got my label emailed and mine will be off in the mail tomorrow.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

When do they charge for this offer? Do they charge when sending the label or when sending the discs?

So far no charge yet, even though my covers have been shipped back.

My guess is they actually charge when they process your returns and get ready to ship your replacement BDs.

I'm kind of surprised they didn't do one charge for shipping and one for product.

Called customer service about my missing shipping label email and they were very quick to get it resolved with the email showing up within an hour.
