How quickly are you getting your email with the shipping label? I still haven't received mine.

Good deal for me since one of my A3's is already dead and I got a few of the discs for free with the mail-ins. Swapping Batmen Begins, The Invasion, I Am Legend, Michael Clayton, Troy and Swordfish.

If any of you are doing this for gifting/reselling purposes, don't be surprised if what you get back differs from the retail versions (e.g. lacking UPC and such).
I'm sure they'll be the retail versions as they aren't going to want to produce new stock (when they can be getting rid of excess inventory). But I wouldn't be surprised if they have a hole punched in the UPC like many promotional copies do.

I still have a separate window open from when the program started with everything in my basket at the original price. I'm waiting on HP and Matrix to show up from inetvideo (I paid $10 in shipping for media mail, what?). I wonder though if I click through if I'll still get the original prices or if it'll be automatically updated with the new prices.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't think they did that with any of the freebies that came when you bought a new player, wasn't Universal the one that carved up the label? Since I paid $ for these, I would expect the real deal, complete and intact.

Would be kinda funny if the industry went back to HD DVD...and you had to mail in your Blu-rays for the very same HD DVDs you owned in the first place.

No thanks! We've already travelled too far in one direction to have to do a u turn and go back the other way. Now, if Universal and Paramount would follow suit I could swap most of my HD-DVD collection.

I'm on the fence with these. I have a few that I know are keepers like Ocean's. But I have 3 players, by the time all 3 have given up the ghost there will probably be a new format. So I'd be spending money, cheap as it may be for redundancy.

That is what I was afraid of. I'll have to email them and see what happened to my order.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

Got my email. I guess I wasn't expecting it so I was surprised to see they are paying the shipping for the covers. That was a mild but nice surprise.

Anyone know if there has been any mention of whether it is okay to fold the artwork to them or not? Does it matter?

I have a large 9 x 11.5 envelope if folding is bad. Hope that is not too big for them.

If they're green, they'll shred and recycle them.

They are not really paying the shipping, you/we are. $6.95 round trip. Your stamp outward is in in the big anticipated average for sure.

They're going to ship them all back to Toshiba, with a nice letter ending in Thanks For All Your Support, and we really understand how you needed to offset a bigger part of your budget for Playstation memory chips...

Nahh, from there Toshiba sends them to Microsoft with a note that says We did it! Playstation brand went from #1 to dead last. Nintendo leading, WTF? Sony bet the farm on Blu-ray and killed their video game side...hahah. Good times. Cya at the BBQ! - Tosh

It takes more resources to recycle glossy, inked paper than to just create new paper from woods harvested specifically for paper.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I mailed mine in yesterday using a regular envelope. I only had 2 covers so I didn't think something larger was needed. I hope the turnaround is quicker than 4-6 weeks, but I'm not too concerned either way.

Re: Warner launches "Red2Blu" trade-in program

I only decided to upgrade my Matrix set (from Complete to Ultimate)... but I'll consider others if my XA1 decides to crap out on me later in the year.
