Your first mistake is thinking of "Up" as a kid film.

It's available for pre-order at the Disney Store for $34.99 (with free Up Pin Set); shipping at $7.95 kills the deal though.

I checked with the B&M store and they're not taking pre-orders as yet.

I don't see a problem with them bundling everything together, but the high price point is insane.
I was on the Sony Rewards site the other day and they had a poll about should they include a DVD with every BD released. When I voted, 80% said Yes. Great...if they keep MSRP the same.

IIRC, they did on Bolt and Sleeping Beauty but not A Bug's Life.

Maybe we'll get another $10 coupon for the bluray, that would certainly help. It seems too early for Disney to pull the plug on those.

I don't see exactly how it's supposed to hold the Pixar collection, but UD said as much.

I'm guessing that opening in the base just behind and to the right of the light may be deeper than it looks and the cases fit in there.

I'd like to know what they consider a "complete Pixar Blu-ray collection". I'm assuming its everything released up through Up!. So when the Toy Story films or anything else gets released, you're screwed.

Re: UP (blu-ray/dvd/digital copy) 11/10

lol i had actually seen that post but it looks just like a regular ordinary desk lamp, i could just as easily and for a lot less money go to walmart and pick up a desk lamp similar to this. and even if it can hold your entire pixar bluray library that doesnt make it worth 199.99 msrp so i ask again is there anything else that makes this set worth the high premium lol

According to a post over in the DVD Bargains thread, Best Buy is offering a pre-order bonus for UP, which is a Limited Edition Steelbook! I'm in for one!

Pretty sure they haven't yet. I wouldn't worry though, I bet Best Buy and TRU will have some decent deals for buying Up + Monsters Inc. together
