If you have a facebook account, you can check out this video.
They also added an alien from Sebulba's race walking down the steps in Jabba's palace.

I don't know if its worse that Lucas felt the need to make so many more insignificant changes, or that fans were able to pick them out so easily and quickly to hate on. I guess both are silly to me.
I'll still get it the set since I have a casual interest in the movies. Watching the "Noooooo" scene just reminds me how silly some of the action looked to begin with.

Rocks? Fucking rocks? Lucas has lost his damn mind.
I found all my VHS copies last week and was thinking about grabbing a VCR. Which bites because I just pitched one about 9 months ago thinking I'd never need it again. ![Sad Banana](/images/smilies/sad.gif)

Wicket's eyes look great. The blink, not so much.

I must've missed the "rock" changes, what's that? The audio stuff, it's entirely unnecessary of course. But you've got to admit this is the most unsurprising news... we all knew there would be changes... you know it to be true. I am surprised about the Krait Dragon call, I thought it was changed to match the bird creature from ROTS, now it doesn't really resemble anything... but I always took it as Ben using a force trick to sort of throw a sound around the canyon walls, not necessarily him doing it.

OK, I'm not one to bitch about all the changes Lucas has made, but concerning Vader's "NOOOO..."
Really?!?! Fucking really?!?!?! Is anyone else curious as to why Lucas has become against all showcases of subtlety (as small as they may be) in his films??
Mind you, I don't view this as anything big enough for me to cancel my pre-order for it. But...really?!

Even worse was how last time so many sites didn't even know what "anamorphic" meant so a lot of the reviewers couldn't even understand why the fans were so upset about the "fun bonus discs."

To be fair, even if the color saturation hasn't changed, it does appear that the shadow detail has improved. Just judging from the screenshots...of course, they can't be trusted. None of this is real for another two weeks....

I would really love to hear the thought process on WHY he felt those changes were necessary. If it isn't broke, why fix it? The end of ROTJ was perfect, because all of Vader's emotion was hiding behind a mask. I am speechless about Obi Wan's war cry in ANH.
I'm all for cleaning out old special effects and such, but seriously now, either George Lucas has lost his mind, or he loves trolling the die hard fans who have filled his pocket for generations now.

OOOOH Boy. I wish I could say I cancelled my pre-order because of this...but I never ordered it anyway. Good grief. Lucas can no longer rape my middle age!!!!!
(Note for the ages and the sensory deprived, that was a joke, I don't believe Lucas raped my middle age, just my childhood!).
One of the best parts of ROTJ - the chilling music,, you could actually "see" emotion in Vader as he makes the switch...now we get the pansy ass "NOOOO".

You know what is kinda funny..I think you can kinda of hear in the new ROTJ, the Emperor's "Absolute Power" noise or whatever the hell he yelled when fried Sam Jackson in Sith. That was my favorite part of the prequels, mostly because of that fantastic youtube video:

re: Star Wars
You know, somebody else on another site pointed out that Luke's dialogue "Father..please" has been removed to make room for this shit, or at least severly reduced. What the hell. The transformation of the OT is complete. It is no longer about Luke redeeming his father. Sucks.

I dont know who was the one at the other site that pointed that out, but s/he is a fucking idiot. The "Father...please" line is said before where this clip begins.

re: Star Wars
OKAY, look at the screen caps of the new ROCKS added during the R2 scene in Star Wars.
Now watch that clip that is supposed to be Obi-Wan's new yell. That scene does not have the new CGI added rocks where R2 is hiding from the screen caps. So, whats the deal?

re: Star Wars
I'd like to point out and this needs to be said for all-time:
While "Star Wars" is more popular and more respected the world over than "Star Trek" (and probably always will be). At least the people behind "Star Trek" release the ORIGINAL editions of their films and programs along with their digitally re-tinkered versions.
I think I'm going to cancel my Amazon pre-order of this cynical cash grab.
