I think it's the Directors cut because on the theaters they showed the Directors cut.

The description I saw for it at cdjapan listed the running time as 132 minutes which, according to IMDB is the director's cut version (the normal being 122 minutes).

here's a question for everyone here, how in the world do you find out about these things? if it wasn't for this thread I'd have no idea any of this stuff even exists.

I already preordered it, hence, proof of my pathetic-ness. Of course, I liked it okay, compared to other people, and my girlfriend really likes it, so it's not completely pathetic. Just mostly pathetic. .

Well, aside from the "In English" button on the main page (which helps some, not not entirely), I've always used a combination of my own translation (not fluent, but can manage) as well as Babelfish. Once you have setup an account with them, it becomes pretty easy to order things from them (too easy, my empty wallet would say).

Here's a website with some basic instructions for ordering: http://www.imaginatorium.org/books/aj.htm

Maybe because it's from the Amazon marketplace and they don't ship to overseas!

I was able to buy a Japanese DVD from the Amazon Marketplace before. They sent me an email verifying the order before they shipped it to me. I guess it depends on whether or not the seller will ship out of Japan.

I finally got around to seeing this and liked it enough to order the Sonny head as well. It'll go well next to the Alien and Terminator busts I recently purchased and the Predator bust I have on preorder.

AMAZON ships overseas.

AMAZON MARKETPLACE is just individual sellers that reside in Japan. Some ship overseas, some don't.

Just got the House of Flying Daggers Korean LE, thought I would share some pics of it. It isn't the coolest looking set, but its still pretty nice.
