I would be surprised if we didn't get a Batman Begins teaser.

I believe that's been cancelled. I, ROBOT will be the first film to get that trailer.

The trailer attached to the print of SPIDER-MAN 2 is CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS (Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis), which looked about as awful as it sounds.

Interesting. I remember when the first Spider-Man opened it had lame-o trailers like Master of Disguise, Scooby-Doo, and Stuart Little 2 in front of it. I also remember lame a$$ previews in front of LOTR:ROTK as well.
Why do these great movies always get lame-a$$ trailers?

Anyone think that in Spider-Man 3 we'll see
Spoiler:
Mary Jane die at the hands of the new Green Goblin? Dunst has publically stated that she doesn't want to do a 4th film. In a way it would make sense. MJ was killed by the Goblin in the comics, but having Harry do it in the 3rd would still work. We've had a chance to invest in the character, so her death would be that much more of a shock. Since you'd have to hire a new actress in the 4th film anyway, might as well kill off MJ and bring on Gwen Stacy in the 4th film.

Actually, it was Gwen Stacy, not Mary Jane who was killed by the Green Goblin. MJ is still alive and well in the comics.

IMO,

Spoiler:
Killing MJ would make sense and have quite an impact, but the bridge scenario has already been played out. However, that would be far too somber a note on wich to end the series.

Spiderman 3

We might see the Harry as the villan.

Why don't they have a special 20 min. cameo with the HULK!!!!!

I would love to see that. However, unlike DC, whose entire base of characters are owned by WB and can have them pop up at will in any movie, such is not the case with Marvel. Each of their movie characters is owned by a different company, and studios egos are too big to let another company share the screen with them. The only likely pair-up for us might be X-Men and Daredevil, both of which are owned by Fox.

Spiderman 3 should jump straight to Venom and Carnage.

That was my favorite series in the 90s.

FWIW, Raimi has said several times that he never understood the appeal of the Venom character and that as long as he is directing the series, neither him nor anything related to him will appear.
That said, I really think Venom was more of a fad character from the 90s more than anything else. I myself had his limited series run, but in retrospect one could argue that he represented all that was wrong with the Marvel industry at the time.

Putting Venom or Carnage in Spider-Man 3 will truly ruin the trilogy. Raimi is smart for not putting those overrated lame ass characters in his films.

I'm glad that they WONT be putting in Venom or Carnage into the third. In the second film there is plenty of set up on who will be going into the third film.

Venom's back story to come anywhere near as impactful as it should be can not be done in the time frame they have without falling back to the first spidermans slower pacing.

I hope Spider-Man 2's mellow story and dark nature doesn't hinder its financial success like Empire did to Star Wars.

The key word is "might." Furthermore, anyone who saw the first and/or follows the comics can see it coming a mile away.

Oh shut up. Just what exactly do you think Harry's last lines at the end of Spider-Man 1 meant? That he'll make Spidey suffer for the death of his father by making him a horrible home-cooked dinner? "HA! Jokes on you, Spider-Man! Oh shit, im eating this too"

You know, that was about as much a spoiler as saying that Anakin Skywalker will become Darth Vadar in Episode 3. Come on already.

Anyway...can't wait for this! I'm there wednesday morning.

Here's our review:
http://www.ugo.com/channels/filmtv/f...an2/review.asp

What my colleague said pretty much mirrors my own thoughts on the film. Very good movie with some excellent traditional Raimi moves (a certain freezeframe is hilarious). Like Return of the King, I thought the ending dragged on a bit too long and there is perhaps too much emphasis on the drama, but these are fairly minor complaints. As a whole: well worth seeing.

While I am glad to see the movie getting good reviews, I really wonder if the focus on drama might turn some people off and result in a lackluster performance. I hope not, but people are weird.

WOW, How can you not like a movie like that? During Bruce's cameo 3 people clapped. Wow, Like others said, it has it all. Any comic book fan who says this movie sucks should be shot.

The inside jokes were great. WOW
