After Ledger's death, he was on Larry King Live talking about his performance and dedication to the Joker role. I don't see how knowing he's in the film is a spoiler.

trailer is only spoilerific if you over analyze it. Movie looks great, still has that comic book tinge in the dialog while keeping it in a somewhat realistic setting.
