Is this real? I can't seem to find the original Batman trailer that looks like this. I am guessing re-edit.
It's a re-edit. An amusing trifle.

Am I the only one not actually liking Two-Face? It looks too cartoony. Not TLJ-The Mask-in-purple cartoony, but cartoony nonetheless.

I think it's presumptuous to judge the look of the character before you've seen the film and the final rendering.

A lot of five figures from the 89 movie, including a Joker, just sold for $4.25 on ebay. So 85 cents?

Joker's Wild: LEDGER DOLLS FLY OFF SHELVES
I thought I snagged one at Wal Mart during lunch, but it doesn't match the picture. Seems more cartoony. Guess I will keep looking. Still haven't seen the Indy figs.

I use to have an '89 Batman t-shirt. I wish I still owned it.

I picked up a Joker and a Batman at a Wal-Mart near my work for $11.99 each today. I think it's a bit steep but I'm a fan and had to have them.

I have the '89 Batman and Joker still in the packages.

I don't think they've been released in Canada yet.

I see Indiana Jones everywhere, and a bit of Iron Man, but nothing related to Batman.

I want an '89 Batman again. I loved that figure, pudgy face and all.

Actually, the one pictured in that article is the one aimed for the children. It has on it "Ages 4+", the one you most likely picked up is the Movie Masters line, which has "8+" on it's line and is the one most closely modeled after Ledger, so you're in the right.

With that said, there is five variants of the Gotham Thug Clown figure and two versions of the Batman (as far as the Movie Masters aka "8 + " line goes).

Indy figs/games/puzzles are in our local Wal-Mart. No Dark Knight merch yet. The kid I talked to said it is supposed to start hitting shelves last week of May.

Man, July 18 can't come soon enough.

The official merch launch was actually May 1st - but obviously some places are going to get it later.

I just saw a TV spot for this for the first time. There didn't look to be anything on there that's not in the trailer, but it was still really cool to see it "in the wild", so to speak. It aired while my wife was watching Brothers and Sisters, and there was no Two Face in there. Just Batman/Bruce Wayne, Alfred, and Joker.

Hey, has anybody noticed how the Joker has stitches on each side of his face?
It looks like it's made so he could have a big grin and show his teeth.

Ummm.... what?

He has scars on each side of his mouth that suggest someone (or himself?) carved a "smile" into his face. There are no stitches.

I saw the new trailer in front of a screening of Iron Man this past weekend (first time I've seen it with sound and not in skip-a-riffic Youtube format). Amazing, amazing trailer all around. 67 days and counting ...

I had to paste the image URL in my address bar to see it.

It's an old one, been around a long time now.

Hope Joker puts up a fight but there he's certainly not fighting fair, which is exactly how he should fight!
