Also, just to make sure you're going in with proper expectations, these will probably be gone within 3-4 minutes at most. (It is a pretty high print run, but the desire will probably also be there and it's priced pretty decent.) You have to complete the entire checkout process before anything is confirmed for you. It's not a cart system where if you can add it to the cart then it's yours for sure. So it's all about being on the page when it's live and getting through the purchase section quickly.

Again, it's appreciated. Is there any way to have the site store your card info? I've got my account created and my address saved, but I can't figure out how to save my card, so check-out will go even quicker.

Good call. I'll have to do that.
Also, on their Twitter feed, they said this: "BTW, our new JURASSIC PARK is 10 COLORS. That's a bunch."
They haven't really explained that, but does that mean there will be 10 different color schemes/variants of this poster? Any idea?

Oh, see, that's what I thought. But then I thought that didn't seem like that much, so maybe it wasn't what it meant. D'oh.

Think of it this way. For every color that they add, they have to do a cut out of everything that isn't that color, and make another pass with paint. So if you wanted a print that said hamburgers, with each letter a different color, you'd have to cut out just the H, do a pass with paints, then do a second cutout of just an "a", do another pass, etc... 4-6 colors are fairly common. 10 colors is kind of rare. The most that I've heard of is 23, and that was a mondo print too. [/nerd]

It's a nice print. Just not one that would make my wall. Maybe it will draw in some Jurassic Park completist and I can unload my Horkey JP print.

Not sure off-hand. Check their archives - it includes every poster Mondo has released. www.mondoarchive.com

They pay licensing fees. They sought out Star Wars but recently studios and directors have been seeking them out. They don't just do anything. They were offered Human Centipede 2 and turned it down.

Art print is sold out, but regular is still available.
Edited to add - this is a first. It said sold out, but is now once again in stock. Odd. Good luck to all that want one.

I went to the Mondo AIGA talk last night. There was some cool insider Mondo info revealed. And there were some nifty pieces on display like a stainless steal Stout Kill Bill 1/2. There's a laser etched Wood Cut Horkey True Grit coming out soon. Anyway this is a good article.

I have tickets for the next mystery movie and have already done a pre-trade with people for the Tong Iron Giant and Stout Assualt on Precinct 13 that were released at the LA mystery movies. Here's an article on that.

I did what I always told myself I never would do, I paid ebay prices for a mondo print

But it is easily my favorite print they have ever put out.
