Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters

So I got my Sleepaway Camp poster and IIRC, they said it would be numbered....yet I can't find my number. Can anyone point out where it is (or should be)?

Mine doesn't seem to be numbered either. Odd.

I emailed them as well and got the following reply:

I shipped all Burning / Sleepaway camp orders as matching numbers. Please check closer. The sleepaway camp number is in the lower right corner of theimage, not the white. The burning is near the credit block. Please confirm you've checked both.
I'll check again tonight -- maybe I overlooked.

You should see the Captain America shield I'm getting made. I'll post it in the collectibles discussion next week.

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters

So here's the Dawn Of The Dead poster from Saturday's Mondo/Rolling Roadshow event. We watched the film in Highland Mall. Bunch of Zombies in make-up. Really fun except for the 1:15 wait on the bus to leave and drive over there.

I have a couple extra of these posters in Blue. I decided to keep the Yellow version and other folks I poster buddied for in other states got the other yellows. The blue versions were 125 each. PM if you want one. I'll need 140 after shipping/pay pal. The price is right on too. Just mailed off 3 yellows and they were $13 each.

EDIT: Here's an eBay auction that shows the blue - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dawn-Dead-VA...#ht_500wt_1413

Nice looking print. I was planning on getting a yellow, but that blue looks pretty good.

Anyway, what did Romero have to say?

Not much unfortunately. At the start he says he loves Mondo, Alamo, Austin, Harry Knowles and Robert Rodriguez. Then he shot a Zombie. The film was over at 1:15 AM and we still needed posters and the bus ride back to the church parking lot. There was no time for a Q&A and honestly most people were tired and a little cranky from all the waiting around.

Yeah, several people were whining about waiting, but I saw hundreds of thrilled people there. I definitely would not say that "most" of the people there were whiners. I was happier than a pig in shit to attend.

Yeah, finally saw it after they told me where to look. Practically invisible.

That's how the Moss Star Wars were. Numbered in the black. I really think they expected people to frame out everything around the black which is what I did. Although, one guy on EB didn't like the look.

Want a chance at an older Alamo print? Or even a Stout?

Tim Doyle is having one of his famous mystery tube sales.

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters

I jumped on it last night because they included 80 older Mondo prints and a few other goodies. I figure with about a 50% shot of getting something great it'd be worth the gamble.

It's totally random so I don't think it's going to matter.

They said that they'd happily take suggestions and they'll see what they can do, but that there was "no promises" on what they were going to put in.

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters

Love them both but I have no storage options for 24x36 so I'll probably have to skip Pinnochio. That Mad Doctor is totally badass though.
