Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters
Finally a Joshua Budich print I like. Usually I find his faces a bit off, but for the most part this one is a winner. Plus, not a ton of cash.
“Brutally Cool” is a 12″x18″, 5-color screenprint, $25

Wow, now Budich thinks he is Ansin. How many phases (artist ripoffs) has he gone through. Hopefully he will find his own style. There is some talent there.

Look what I found on eBay:
I became aware of this mash-up poster early last year after ordering the Season of the Fog print from Fright Rags. It was long sold out at that point and I was crushed to have missed my chance at buying it. I signed up for an eBay alert just in case any kind soul was hard up for cash and put one up for auction. To my amazement, Fright Rags themselves listed a handful for sale last week -- and they went fast. The original batch was signed by director Fred Dekker, but this one was unsigned. A couple signed copies (with damage) were also auctioned off, but I opted for the mint one. So happy to finally have it on my wall.

BTW, the artist is Jason Edmiston. He also did an awesome 18x24 print of Choptop from TCM Pt. 2, which was signed by Bill Moseley:

Pretty gruesome image, but I always loved that character. I ordered it for about $30 earlier this year, but Fright Rags currently have it on sale for $17.97. Wish I'd waited, but it had already been out for months and is a limited edition of 250.

FYI, Jason Edmiston is selling a smaller version (13x19) of those Night of the Creeps/Monster Squad prints in his Etsy store.

I was debating buying the small one from his store last year, but $58 shipped was a bit steep and I was still holding out hope of snagging the original poster. On the plus side, the 13x19 print is signed by the artist.

Anybody here manage to grab one of the Avenger prints? I have the Captain America. Looking to get the Iron Man regular and the group assemble (could be a Stout).

I got Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor via the Mondo drops. (Hopefully getting Hawkeye directly from Whalen.) I'll definitely be shooting for the group as well.

^ Nice - I received my initial run copy earlier this week. Looks great in person. BTW, I got Captain and Thor (reg) via the Mondo drops. Not going for the whole set -- don't care for Hulk, Iron Man and Hawkeye. Missed out on Black Widow. Looking forward to next week's Stout.

Yessir.
Good luck to all going tomorrow. Print run should make it doable, but that has no bearing on the site performance.

By the way, big Stout fan here. And The Avengers looks great. I've been a fan since getting the Lost Boys print in Santa Cruz during the rolling roadshow. I figured it was just a one off sort of deal and still kick myself for not checking the alamo web page soon after and finding out about some other cool posters. D'oh!
