I see it listed no problem. It is her second credit.

Silent House was an insult to the original.

I'm not watching any more clips. This looks too good to spoil. I can wait a couple weeks to see it all together.

*Back to Olsen*

Godamnit. I wanted her to stay as a brunette for the rest of her days in the MCU, but I'm already won over with her light look now

Just have quality people making quality stuff. WB unfortunately... doesn't have a bit of both of those things. Specifically those not on the screen.
I think he's right about that video though. It just shows that there's a sense of lighter spirit and that the people making these films are having fun. A lot of that comes from the camaraderie of working together so long but even Olsen as a new comer looks to be having fun. I think that somewhat reflects on the final product that the people working on it are having a good time.

Some of the greatest movies ever made have had troubled productions with strife and turmoil experienced off-camera. Whether or not the cast has fun really means nothing in regard to the ultimate quality of the movie. When you consider the history of filmmaking, there is very little substance to that argument, except for providing another shallow talking point in the DC vs. Marvel discussion.

I definitely don't think that element hurts though. People who are enjoying what they're making are probably more likely to make something that more people enjoy. It isn't the sole reason why I think Marvel is better than DC with films at the moment but I definitely feel like it works in their favor in making a more enjoyable film.

It really has nothing to do with the final product. There are so many examples of actors that didn't get along with their costars or director, yet still turned in good performances and managed to make a good movie. This argument only works if you think these are bad actors who can't separate off-screen experiences from their performance.

Again though I'm not saying that's the only reason. Just that it could be one thing that works in Marvel's favor. It helps any job to be better if you enjoy the people you work with and if you're having fun at your job that will reflect the output of your work quality in my opinion.

This is hilarious. It has nothing to do with anything. If I was working on a popular film franchise guaranteed to make millions of dollars, I'd be in a good mood for Internet videos as well. Marvel films haven't even been free of production troubles and creative differences. Did you like Ant Man?

Re: Captain America: Civil War (2016) (D: The Russo Bros) - News, Rumors, Cast

The troubled production of Ant-Man exists I admit but even so there was a lot of bitching about how the film turned out too (even though in reality most of the issues were between Marvel and Wright, I don't really recall any real on set issues). Also of course the money helps but again I think over time the camaraderie among the cast has built up and they probably are friends. I don't think that its that far off base to say that people working together who enjoy each other and the work that they're doing will deliver a more quality product. Not necessarily that will be the only driving factor to making a quality film but again it definitely doesn't hurt. I think arguing that it does is pretty silly too.

Re: Captain America: Civil War (2016) (D: The Russo Bros) - News, Rumors, Cast

To add to that.. the amount of people who pay attention and/or know those kinds of things to that is exceedingly small. We know cuz we're sad fucks who get to know that kind of shit along w/ whatever else a production has.

Again... Marvel casts having a ball mean fuck all to the end result. It makes it more fun as a side element cuz we like these people but it means fuck all at the end. It can bring us closer to these actors and such. But... it doesn't matter.

It helps w/ them doing marketing and promos. Cuz... they do a lot of those and seems like they're having fun w/ it. Extending that closeness we may have to them by social media and marketing.

What you're getting at just adds nonexistent fuel to the fire that is BvS now.

A cast liking each other doesn't and shouldn't matter to the end result.

Very RARELY does the personal elements ever really affect a film. But for what the films are going for? There's nothing to really push for that element to bleed onto the screen.

EDIT: I know what you're getting at but the best that a cast liking each other can do is make it an easier environment and overall production. That's what everyone hopes for but it shouldn't matter to the end result if anyone wants to keep their job.

What's funny is that you're actually denigrating the talents of the cast of Civil War by suggesting that their off-screen relationship has a meaningful impact on the final result of the movie. Good actors separate that stuff from their performance. I'm not as in love with Marvel films as most posters here, but they are definitely made by professional filmmakers/artists, and they are perfectly capable of doing their jobs. I get that you want to highlight reasons why Marvel rules and DC sucks, but this is just a bad argument.

I actually never singled out DC or Batman V Superman but okay I guess. Also I'm not trying to downplay the ability of the actors and actresses to deliver good performances. Just saying that them liking each other in real life doesn't hurt them delivering a film that people enjoy. Yes a lot of times there have been films that have turned out fine with people who didn't get along but all I'm saying is that I don't think them liking each other hurts at all and I do think that somewhat comes across in the final product.

I seem to have to keep repeating that I don't think that's the sole factor. Just one factor that I feel can reflect on the final film. Whatever clearly we disagree and are just going to keep going in circles so I'm just going to end it.

Okay, so to summarize, it's not the sole factor, but it might be a contributing factor in cases where cast members become friends and the film happens to turn out well. However, it's not a contributing factor in cases where cast members get along, but the final film isn't well received, like Batman V. Superman.. or cases where cast members did not get along, but the final film turned out well.

Tell me where exactly I mentioned Batman V Superman or DC in any my posts. I said nothing about it. The only way it's related at all is because Snake's post that I quoted was responding to another poster who made the DC/Marvel comparison but I said nothing about it and it wasn't my point.

Overall that wasn't the point I was making though and really I didn't say anything against DC there.
