Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

The questions in the second half of the game were much tougher and I imagine will have less obvious matches. Should be fun.

Fun for you ... lower 2nd half scoring works to the advantage of the point leader

But I agree. Many of these could go a lot of different ways. I fear the Bootsie.

And the reverses are total crapshoots. Questions where everyone probably knows all the correct answers. Next time I see a question like that, I'm just writing all the answers on a piece of paper and pick one at random. Those kinds of reverse questions are evil to a player ... but entertaining as a sheepmaster

12) What is the best superhero franchise of all time (note: a shared universe does not count as a franchise).

First, our unfortunate no-matches:

Spoiler:

Ash Ketchum Power Rangers 0

Spoiler:

hasslein X-Men 0

Spoiler:

bradler Iron Man 0

Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

Moving on to our matching answers. This first one is a very worthy answer that only two players agreed on.

Spoiler:

devilshalo Captain America -2
cdollaz Captain America -2

And on a related note...
Spoiler:

DaveNinja The Avengers -2
wishbone The Avengers -2

Which makes our sheepiest answer of this round:

Crap ... should've slammed Dark Knight. I feared Marvel love, and overestimated Nolan hate (based on a poster or two that seem to slam him at every opportunity).

He doesn't know a lot of the Sheep terminology because he doesn't play many games because he prefers to give the "correct" answer rather than the Sheepy one. As others said, I give him credit for sticking to his principles.

An "orange crush" is adding a {sd} at the end of a Reverse Sheep answer because you think a lot of people will answer a Reverse question with the same answer and turns your positive (bad) score into a negative (good) score, and instead finding out that your Reverse answer was unique and changes a good negative score into a 0.

Both are especially disappointing because you have a finite number of {sd}s to play per game (five) and they can be the difference between winning and losing if played correctly.
This answer should be added to the Sheep FAQ.

Re: Reverse Sheep, Part Two, the Sequel: Electric Boogaloo

The next round is gonna hurt some of you. A total of six players didn't get a match.

13) Name an awesome prequel.

Stretching the limits of what many consider a "prequel":
Spoiler:

DaveNinja Batman Begins 0

Stretching the limits of anyone's movie knowledge:
Spoiler:

Ash Ketchum Nevada Smith (1966) 0

A very good answer that went unmatched:
Spoiler:

Kal-El X-Men: Days of Future Past 0

Hmmm...
Spoiler:

wishbone Missing in Action II 0

Well, compared to the two that came before it, this one's awesome, relatively speaking...
Spoiler:

Crocker Jarmen Revenge of the Sith 0

Is this a prequel?
Spoiler:

hasslein Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 0

Ugh on the Batman thing over Captain America? With all the Nolan bashing that goes on here with that series... and the heaps of praise Cap got?

Actually a very good answer that I considered. Logic says picking a really bad movie in a franchise that had a new installment recently should be a good play. Logic fails us sometimes.

Out of slams though, so it'll be tough. I need to get lucky and get a unique on at least one of the two remaining crapshoot reverses.
