in HK after 6/15 for those already bought the set. Looks like the corrected set won't be available in HK until then. So if your set shipped before that date, it will have incorrect artwork.

thanks, I use PowerDVD and doesn't seem to have the ability to remove the subs even though all 4 boxes ticked. Guess it depends on the software as well.

I've tried the HKL The Killer and was unable to remove the forced subs on the song sung by Shirley Yip.

What concerns me is that more and more studios follow suit of MGM to replace burnt-in subtitles with player-generated ones.
Such as Universal (Bourne Identity) and some titles from Columbia Tristar.

Avoid the latest remasters.

Look for the 1995 22-bit remaster instead, though these are becoming difficult to get.
