If you haven't heard it yet, you should download and listen to Chris Hardwick's Nerdist Podcast from last week. He had Kevin on and they spoke a bit about the whole Olivia situation as well as their thoughts on how Candace is doing. Pretty funny/interesting episode.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread
I was just going to post how annoying Candace is becoming with her "Glitter on my camel toe" routine. Somehow when Olivia did stuff like that it didn't seem so stupid. It just seems so stupid when Candace attempts that type of humor.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread
The whole thing is almost 2 hours. I scanned through and found them talking about Olivia and the new host search starting at 1:09:00 (for about 5 minutes).
Mostly a lot of rambling and lame sex jokes. Kevin says it's hard to find a girl that'll make fun of herself. Or a girl that isn't using the show as a stepping stone to something better. He said Candace is doing an "admirable job". And that it took Olivia 6 months before they got chemistry. So it sounds like they're not giving up on the new chick.
Maybe there's some better parts. But I couldn't handle any more.

I listened to the whole thing today. They said that Olivia kind of bailed on them to go do other stuff. But they also said that she is actually the hardest working person they know with many projects going on at once. So no juicy details or bashing of her. They seemed to be more complimentary towards her.
And yeah, so far they are both liking Candace...or so they say.

Does anyone else find the new black girl extremely annoying? I think her name is Andy or some shit. She's done The Feed before and I saw a lot of her during the E3 coverage. Drives me fucking crazy!

Apparently, UFC is in talks to purchase G4. I don't know if they'll get rid of AOTS.

NBC Universal’s G4 Channel May Fetch Fetch $600 Million in Sale to UFC
NBC Universal’s G4 channel may fetch as much as $600 million in a sale to Ultimate Fighting Championship, according to analysts including David Joyce of Miller Tabak & Co.
Comcast Corp. (CMCSA)’s NBC Universal is in talks to sell the video-game channel to UFC, the mixed-martial-arts fighting league, according to two people with knowledge of the situation. G4 reaches 60 million U.S. homes, and may command $5 to $10 per home in a sale, Joyce said. David Bank, an analyst with RBC Capital Markets, gave the same estimate.
Negotiations are early and a deal may not be reached, said the people, who aren’t authorized to speak publicly. Ultimate Fighting Championship’s contract with Viacom Inc. (VIA/B)’s Spike TV ends this year, one of the people said. More broadly distributed cable channels with bigger advertising revenue can fetch as much as $20 per subscriber, Joyce said.
Amelia Stewart, a spokeswoman for New York-based NBC Universal, declined to comment, as did Caren Bell, a spokeswoman for Las Vegas-based UFC, which is controlled by Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta.
The discussions were reported yesterday by the the Wall Street Journal. UFC may seek only to buy control of the network, the newspaper said, citing unidentified sources.
Comcast, which acquired control of NBC Universal in January from General Electric Co. (GE), gained 19 cents to $24.31 at 4 p.m. New York time in Nasdaq Stock Market trading. The shares had climbed 11 percent this year.

Boo. Every time this thread gets bumped, I have hopes they corrected their error and put Haislip in the cohost spot, and every time, my hopes are dashed.

I keep trying to watch AOTS, but Candace keeps annoying me so much that I FFWD through most of it, or just don't watch it at all. Plus, they still don't have G4 in HD on FIOS.
If UFC takes over and guts the programming, it wouldn't be any great loss, though I'd be a little sad for some of the people I do enjoy watching, like Morgan and Kevin.

Awesome "Around the Net" on today's show. Both Kevin and Candace get to revisit troubling memories of their childhood.

6/13 was great.
Candice is retarded. She says "room full of shit", which keeps beeped, and says shit two more times.

NBC owned by Comcast.
Alison Haislip still works on G4 in various capacities (including Attack of the Show and American Ninja Warror) but she will also be working on NBC's The Voice as a social media correspondent.
