African American doesn't indicate that they're mixed (African and white or whatever), but that they're American citizens, same as "Asian American" or "Japanese American" or whatever.

Jessie may be the biggest douche bag to have ever been born. I mean his douche bagginess is absolutely off the chart that I think we need a new term to describe him. Maybe Enema Bag?

But he is a chef for alcoholics, no matter how much he can defend his job he is still a bartender.

I'm sure there are people working for the liquor companies who have the sole job of inventing new drink recipes. Those people probably never actually serve a drink at a bar, and work in a lab.

I just want to take a moment to thank G-d for making sure that Angie was safe tonight. And please keep her protected for at least 2 more months or let her win.
I'm very behind of this show, but I was pleasantly surprised that the hooters girl wasn't just some dumb blonde bimbo trying to hook up. I was actually quite surprised she was in the minority group, because after missing so much, I would have assumed they chose her to be the house slut and that she would have been the female Jessie and, therefore, probably in tight with the majority group.

Angie is a little safer than they are showing on the show. She's been in a major alliance four person alliance since day 2 (Angie, Memphis, Michelle, & Jessie). While I do agree that he is an epic douchebag that was one of the reasons why Jesse was mad at Angie (plus he has a crush on her...much to Michelle's dismay). I hate that Angie is alligned with tools like Jessie and Michelle, but she isn't going anywhere as long as Memphis has a say in it.
Angie's major problem is that Libra, Ollie, Keesha, & April don't know about this alliance. And Lord knows if you so much as speak to someone who is supposed to be ostracized then you are against them (specifically the two bitchy ones).
Actually watching that food comp I have to wonder what the hell Libra was talking about when she blamed the loss on Jerry and Renny (and she has blamed them). Based on the editing if it was anyone's "fault", it was April.
Dan tied his leg to the wrong guy so he's paying for it. While likeable, Steven has played a clumsy game.
By the way, I still hate that they air the nomination show after the veto meeting has taken place. It's like they are two weeks behind.

Renny has really worked herself back into the house. They mentioned on After Dark that she didn't have her pills when she first got into the house. Makes you wonder a bit.
And Steven has played an incredibly stupid game. He really should have just swallowed his pride and gone up to see the damn HOH room. I think it's ridiculously silly thing that every week the new HOH pretty much insists that everyone come up to the HOH room so they can see the new HOH gloat. I just figured it was a CBS mandate.

Usually, when players don't go up to see the new HOH room, it's later on in the season when deep resentments have set in.
Steven strikes me like less of a jerk than somebody who's socially awkward. Witness his "dead pet" conversation as an example.

Besides, the way the house has setup doesn't work to his favor. It's like a bunch of kids who were popular in high school go together to form the "cool kids" group with the intent of picking off the people they don't deem cool enough to be in their group.
It seems petty, but I guess when people are looking for a reason to "belong", they go with whatever they can find to differentiate themselves (sort of like when a group forms because they all stay up later than the other people).

I find the whole "going up to see the HOH room" thing silly. It's the same damn room. And why do people always bring everyone else with them for the first look? If it were me, I'd want to go in alone and check it out for awhile before I brought everyone in there with me.

Anything a player can use to "justify" a nomination has always been fair game to be brought up by the HoH as a reason for a nomination. So Steven did himself no favors by not playing the social game, and just gave Jesse more ammo ("perceived" disrespect) to put him on the block.
It does look like the women are doing a good job letting the men to pick off male houseguests because the men are scared of physical dominance advantage in the game that men are perceived to have.
