Heroes -- "Angels And Monsters" -- 10.13.2008

"Angels And Monsters"

Armed with H.R.G. s old files and a taser, Claire attempts to take down her first target, Stephen Canfield a Level 5 escapee with the ability to create black holes unaware that others are closing in. Meanwhile, Peter flees from all the death and destruction in the future, only to grimly discover how deeply the experience has changed him. Frustrated that Adam Monroe didn t get them closer to the formula, Hiro takes a stab at becoming friends with Daphne and new associate Knox much to Ando s dismay. Later, Suresh s urge to correct research errors puts Maya among others, in a sticky situation. Linderman advises Nathan to stick by Tracy. In Africa, Matt sees his vision of happily ever after destroyed.

Meh. I've been watching since the first episode. I'll most likely stick around to the bitter end.

Besides, bitching about the story lines, plot holes, inconsistencies, and idiotic characters is a lot of the fun.

Since sooooooo many people thought last week was once of the worst I assume this thread will be a lot smaller and not filled with the same people that swore off the show...right? Or will they keep coming back for more.... Dun dun dun!

I think I counted eight people who said they would quit watching.

I think I'm done. Of course, I always recognized that the show was stupid- I just have less time for TV right now.

I think tonight's the night. If it's worst that last week's ultimate clusterfuck, then quite a few dvdtalkers will drop it.

Considering that I still have Supernatural, it wouldn't be a problem for me to drop Heroes.

Also we are only a few weeks away from Gears of War 2, so there's a chance I may completely disregard television shows for a few months.

Look, I don't want to be a troll, 'cause I totally dug (most of) S1... S2 was an abomination, and S3, while better, is just so bloated and idiotic...... it's not that I don't want the show to succeed, but it's just failing on all accounts at this point. It's sad, because I think the creator/writers really screwed the pooch with this show, and the dwindling ratings confirm that.

I'm in the minority, but I think this is the strongest season yet (at least so far). Shame so many previous fans have tuned out this year.

And yes, I still think Linderman is "God".

I watched last week episode yesterday and I didn't think it was that bad like a lot of people mentioned in the previous thread.
So, Heroes may not be the best on television right now but it's pretty entertaining.

I'm mixed on this season right now, some strong points and some weak stuff. I'll stay tuned tonight, for what could be a solid episode.

it was a different voice, but then they had a second voice intro, which was odder.

Yeah. Not liking Suresh, but maybe they can turn it around. I'm actually enjoying Gabriel in his "domesticated" phase.

I really dislike Suresh each new episode. And Maya is useless.
