Speaking of which, if Jacob is from the Black Rock era (or earlier), why does he have an American accent?
I think we were actually watching the Black Rock arrive at the island when the episode began.

Well, the Ajira leader (what's-her-name) did say that someone else had been using the cabin.

Rose and Bernard seemed to me to be using it, yes?

I have to say, that fight between Jack and Sawyer was pretty bad-ass.

I've been waiting for them to have a fist fight like that!

Are we talking about the same cabin in the woods? The one that moves? And how would she know that anyways?

My guess is the bearded guy from the beginning was imprisoned in "Jacob's cabin". He got out and influenced the Losties to help him. Somehow took on Locke's likeness and impersonated him.
It was great to see Ben getting taken advantaged of.
The guy that picked up Miles ('you owe me a fish taco') in the van asked about the shadow of the statue too. So, whose side are they on, Jacob's? They were trying to talk him out of helping Widmore. So they must have all got on the plane knowing what was going to happen.

I thought they built their own.

Never cared too much for their story, but the closure their characters got was really nice.

She seemed to know it due to the Egyptian cloth pinned to the wall with the blade.

Yep, Jacob left the cabin, the other guy moved in as Christian. Conned Locke into killing himself.

I think Jacob knew Juliet had to be there to explode the bomb and change things. They certainly didn't kill the major characters off, so Juliet changed something.

Also, this is the first time on the show Ben was completely conned by someone else.

I'm going to go ahead and toot my own horn here:

He met Hurley at the cab when he was released from prison.

I assume the cabin that was burned in this episode was the same cabin we've seen in earlier seasons. As for how she knows any of the stuff she knows, I guess that's to find out about next season.

But did he touch him? Jacob touched all the other losties in the flashbacks. I don't remember him touching Hurley.

So, who's gonna translate the answer to the shadow of the statue question?

No love for Rose and Bernard's return (finally!). Hell I choked up when the dog showed up.

Re: Lost -- 2 Hour Season Finale -- "The Incident" -- 5/13/09

The biggest shock for me from this episode?

The fact that the Fringe finale completely blew it to shit.

I'm gonna let it sink in a bit, but as of right now, not too pleased. I've LOVED this season but this episode just seemed so horribly written and downright cheesy in some parts. Characters completely flip flopping back and forth just to move the story along. Sometimes only 10 minutes apart from their last defiant moment. Ugh.

Re: Lost -- 2 Hour Season Finale -- "The Incident" -- 5/13/09

So basically they left us not knowing who's alive, who's dead, who's lost in time somewhere, where in time they are going, or why. What was the point of the wounded Sayid drama that wasn't resolved? What was the point of the Juliet death drama if she's just as likely to be moved in time as the rest of them, especially if this "resets" everything, which would mean that she'd still be alive and unwounded?

The people on Lostpedia think it means "He who saved us all" or something of the like.

Ha, with all the things that happened, I completely forgot about that!
