Interview with Elizabeth Mitchell about Lost. Kinda spoilery since she mentions what is going on with Juliet. Read at your own risk, I'm sure 99.99% of you won't.

Well, we did see young Ben talking to his dead mother. We don't know who/what that was.

Having not read Elizabeth Mitchell's comments, I would guess that Juilet had some sort of "moment" when the bomb went off. What might have been a second for everyone else was likely a considerable amount of time for her - which would explain the coffee comment to Sawyer.

I think that they're heading down the path of using Bernard and Rose as Adam and Eve but in the context of the overall story it doesn't make sense even with the time travel.
Charlotte died in the past, I don't see why Rose and Bernard can't.

But Rose & Bernard were on a timeline that doesn't appear to lead to the crash of Oceanic 815 for the Losties to ever discover them.

As much as I like the theory of Rose and Bernard being Adam and Eve it doesn't match up unless Jacob decides they fit some master plan.

Some people in this thread need to read what Cuse and Lindelof stated about what is going on.

There are two timelines in play right now. The original and the new one caused by the incident. In the original timeline Rose and Bernard can still be in 77, with Widmore's Others and Dharma cementing over the incident. In the other timeline the entire flight 815 did not crash. We've been watching the first timeline for five seasons now. Whatever Happened, Happened in that timeline.

Some of us don't read the interviews and like to speculate before the SHOW tells us what is going on.

Right before fake Locke turned into the smoke monster, something dropped on the floor. Did anyone catch what that was? I tried pausing that scene and still couldn't make it out.

It's safe to read that interview. It's a whole lot of nothing really.

Yeah, aside from answering whether or not we'll see her again, it's basically her making up theories of her own, as she has no clue what's going on.

If I remember correctly, the only cast member who knows how every part will be played out is Matthew Fox.

I thought it was the bullet that was fired, but I could be completely wrong on that one.

You should have figured out there are two timelines by watching the episodes last night.

Thanks - a bullet makes a lot of sense.

I was thinking it was some clue to how the Man In Black transformed into Locke - maybe something that belonged to Locke that he had in his possession.

Yeah and they showed it close up I think, a flattened bullet..apparently Flocke is made out of steel like Superman.

It should be interesting to finally see how the monster really works. Perhaps it can only kill people after judging them and/or being provoked. This could explain Richard screaming for his group not to shoot at him.

If this has been addressed, I apologize, but this thread is on page 20.

Did anyone have an explanation for the ep title LA X instead of LAX?

I think you're entirely right about this. And now I think Jacob has entered Sayid, reborn (water submersion is historically the symbol of new birth). Plus, notice the way they carried Sayid out of the water, with his arms stretched out at the sides like Christ. I think they were being fairly obvious that this is a good vs. evil of the gods game.

Ah! A bullet makes more sense than the beetle I suggested earlier. :-)

Big

Nice catch. I was wondering why there was such an extended moment about the pen - (he tries to reach in, asks for a pen, asks for a pen, asks for a pen, then reaches in again anyways)... I love how even something small like that is still playing out.

Most popular reference that comes to mind is Earth X:

The typo thing on Kimmel was obviously a joke. It was intentional.
