She's one of the dogs to which I was referring. Mary Gross was cuter.
He's already starred in a couple of recent movies, Hall Pass, Horrible Bosses, Good Old Fashioned Orgy. I'd like to see him try one on his own, rather than second fiddle or group. Maybe he can be like Chevy Chase.

I totally agree with you, I like Sudekis. To me he's just not star material, though.

Yeah, I'm trying to recall one memorable sketch she's done.
Tina Fey and Poehler were no dogs

I hope she doesn't leave, she's easy on the eyes even when her sketches are falling flat. I would be wary about leaving for anything on Fox, as they have a tendency to green light series then pull them after less than a month. Also, most of their live action comedy series blow chunks.

She was let go after the season ended in May 2009. Happy Endings started in Spring 2011 (but probably filmed in fall 2010).
Actually, not counting Seth, Fred Armisen and Keenan Thompson have been there the longest, at 10 and 9 seasons, respectively. Sudekis and Samberg (and Hader and Wiig) are on their 7th season.
I kind of miss the days when they would have a big cast purge every 5 years, up until 1995.

I'd like to see her get her own show. I think Lorne Michaels has the actors sign a contract that will allow him to offer them sitcoms, but I don't think another network/production company's sitcom would count toward that. So if she left, I don't see her coming back, especially as her usual role as background lady #2 in skits.

Wow, I like some of those folks, but I think it's time for a cast refresh. And it's definitely time for a writer refresh. The writing has just been brutal the last few years.

So, is it Ned Fox or Ben Fox? In the OP, it was mentioned that it's based on a writer's brother, using his name. Was the real Ben Fox not happy about it?

Thank god
Now we can see her again every other week in one of the throw away sketches that air after 12:30am

I'm surprised Fox turned away someone who was committed to one of their situation comedies. It's not like this thing will get a full-season order.

I didn't want to create a new thread, but reportedly Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Jason Sudeikis are all leaving SNL at the end of this season.

I will not miss Wiig in 90% of her appearances. For every Real Housewives of Disney, there are 9 self-satisfying sketches of hers.
Samberg's been absent for a while, really, even the digital shorts seemed few and far between.
Sudeikis is a HUGE loss for me. What Up With That just lost most of its appeal with his red jumpsuit.
