Meh. I’ll give it a shot and see how long I can hang on.

Looks awesome as usual. Is this the last season? Seems like they aim to wrap things up with the main characters.

I'm not really a fan of them doing a season every 2 years. How many still even remember what happened back in 2018?

Totally agree. I don't believe this is a show that can afford to lose any momentum whatsoever. The second season didn't do much to generate any passion in the audience and I wonder if half the viewers even remember the show exists.

I remember reading they had 5 seasons plotted out but tough to say.

The second season certainly lagged the first but I think the main take-away is that the robots escaped (well some of them, obviously) and those that didn't, jumped off a cliff while they thought they were going to "nirvana".

Two years between really sucks and season 2 was already a massive step down from the first season as it was... but I'm still looking forward to season 3.

I do, I do ... but that’s just because 2018 was just a few weeks ago for me.

I dig the Sweet Child O' Mine cover. Also, that trailer felt like the end of the show, no more seasons after this

The trailer looks pretty good but about the only thing I remember about season 2 is not liking it very much.

Looks cool. I like the change to the city and the whole trailer has a large scale feel like a feature film.

Re: Westworld -- The News, Rumors, Casting, Discussion Thread [Possible Spoilers]

I ran into a trailer after something else I was watching on HBO and thought it looked pretty slick, especially the sets which (CGI or not) looked really impressive. After a bit I realized it was apparently an episode-length trailer and I shut it off. There had to be glimpses of dozens of scenes. How about leave a little something to the imagination.

Here's a "hidden" trailer (unlisted on Youtube) that shows more new footage:

We'll watch 4 just for the sake of the fact we've watched the other 3. 1 was good. 2 was Ok. 3 was garbage.

Same. I love Aaron Paul but even he couldn't save that mess. I bailed after 3 episodes but want to get thru it and keep faith that S4 is awesome.

Stupid question: Was S3 a significant time jump for the audience or did the robots just escape into the real world and it happens to be that far into the future compared to 2022?

Clearly character deaths mean NOTHING on this show.

Re: Westworld -- The News, Rumors, Casting, Discussion Thread [Possible Spoilers]

I did watch season 3, but honestly I barely remember it. All I recall was that some of the exteriors were filmed in Singapore. it certainly doesn't help that they only air a season every 2 years now.

Casting news. Ariana Dubose from Westside Story will have a recurring part in season 4.
