I really liked these last two. I thought the first was funnier than the second, but it was good to see Phil come around and be up front with everyone at the end.
Good to hear it got a second season.

I had a hard time getting to the finale. Everything on this show is so incredibly unlikable. I definitely think they should have milked him being alone until at least halfway through the season.

And Carol is so goddamn annoying.

Phil's constant lying is so obvious to everyone and terrible. He sucks as a person on a number of levels. The best thing he could have done is packed up his cool shit and LEFT! Jesus. There are clearly people who have survived. GTFO and go shack up in a mansion on the CA coast.

If this show had balls, that would be S2. Because it doesn't, the telegraphed heartstrings when Phil kissed Carol in the final moments almost assures us we'll see him try to honestly win her back next season.

I'm done seeing all of these people. S2 opener better fucking kill it or I'm killing it from my queue.

I had started to reach my limit with Phil over the last few episodes. But he SEEMS to have had a little bit of an epiphany, and they've sort of hit the reset button with his "divorce." So I look forward to seeing where it goes next.

I'm still finding the show entertaining. Honestly the fact that Phil's kind of a jerk I think makes him more endearing. Like someone else said he's basically like Michael Scott in that you can't help but laugh at his jerkiness. Personally I like him more than Carol or January Jones' character who I can't remember.

I'm sticking with the show as well. I thought the pilot was better than anything that's come after it, which is crazy rare, but it's amusing enough.

I liked the change in Todd's character when an alpha male shows up. Now not only is Phil NOT the last man on Earth, he's not even the last Phil Miller on earth, lol!

I still laugh every time he gets called out on his infantile scheming. I'm ashamed of it, but it cracks me up just the same. The icing on the cake is when the rest of the group all wince and groan in disapproval as he stands there being humiliated by his own BS. I give a lot of credit to Will Forte for making Phil a total bastard and pathetically forgivable at the same time.

This is a very unpredictable show. But, yes, that is what I hope happens. "Eastbound and Down" style. Maybe he goes to Tampa for real next season.

I remember reading where Judd Aptow got notes from NBC that his characters on Freaks & Geeks should get an occasional win lest the audience get tired of watching. When I read this I had no point of reference as I've never seen F&G, but I'm starting to see what the guy from NBC was saying...
